I purchased this to protect my camera lense. Better to risk scratching and replacing an inexpensive filter than an expensive lense! I can't say I ever noticed it and the camera lense cover fit right into it. I was using it on a Nikon Coolpix B700

You need a fast recording card like this one to keep up with todays cameras when you are taking video or burst or even multiple shots fast. I bought two of these to use with my B700 Coolpix camera and they kept up fine even doing longer videos. I took one and put it in my older Nikon Coolpix AW110 Ihad thought the camera was on its last legs and it is operating again. Seems the card I had in it was too slow! I only wish I had bought more while they were on sale!

I went in to buy a Nikon D3400 and got sidetracked by this camera. I tried it for a week before taking it back and exchanging it for the D3400 but sometimes I still wish I had it. It takes awesome videos and the telephoto is great. I never saw any issues with stabilization taking zoomed pictures of hummingbirds as my test! The only reason I returned it was I was more interested in the landscape, lower light and manual control capabilities of the D3400. That said it was a great camera!

It was easy to set up and works well but it doesn't do as much to extend the range of my WIFI as I had hoped from other reviews. In the unit's defense it may be the construction of my home. There are some areas that are a lot better and others not as much so and it doesn't seem to make sense why.
Overall for the money it was an improvement! If I were to do it again I might spend a bit more.
