Out of an epic 25-year battle in which angels led by Gabriel (Carl Beukes) fought humans and their ally, the archangel Michael (Tom Wisdom), comes an unlikely hope for mankind in this supernatural drama based on the characters from the 2010 movie "Legion." Set in the fortified city of Vega (formerly Las Vegas), where an elaborate caste system is now in place to manage the Earth's war-depleted resources, Season 1 begins with a young soldier named Alex Lannon (Christopher Egan) learning he is "The Chosen One," a revelation that leads to all sorts of turmoil, both personal and political. On top of this heavy responsibility, reluctant hero Alex is in a romance with Claire Riesen (Roxanne McKee), daughter to the city's ruler Edward (Alan Dale). Their love seems doomed, however, since not only is she his superior in social class, but her father demands she enter into an arranged marriage with religious leader William Whele (Luke Allen-Gale), son of the powerful and ambitious David (Anthony Head), for the betterment of Vega. Little do they know, William has a hidden agenda---and a secret alliance---that is aimed at causing more harm than good.
It does a wonderful job in exploring what happens years after things go down in the world after the film. The enemies are scary-good and the main characters are interesting. The adventure is just as fun.
This release contains every episode from the first season of Z Nation, a Syfy series that follows a group of people attempting to transport one person from New York to California while the world suffers from a horrific zombie apocalypse. If the group succeeds, a cure for the plague may be found.
Classic zombies with more of a wow factor. The show isn't as heavily drama focused like The Walking Dead. There is more fun, comedy, and mysterious dilemmas that makes the zombie apocalypse entertaining to be in.
Daniel Craig still proves to be one the best Bonds. This film had an interesting story and it was awesome to see a classic villain return in an origin style. The acting was great and the direction was engaging.
This release pulls together three episodes of the children's horror anthology Goosebumps, based on the work of author R.L. Stine. The installments included here are Ghost Beach, A Night in Terror Tower, and Scary House.
I picked this up to reconnect with some of the things I did as a kid. The show can still creep me out in certain episodes. This show is great if you have kids or not. It brings that great classic 90's feel in television.
This box set contains every episode from the second season of the Comedy Central satire of reality shows Reno 911! Each episode is presented in the original broadcast aspect ratio of 1.33:1. These episodes are presented in their uncensored editions, meaning there is language and material that did not appear on the original broadcasts.
This show continues to make me laugh with the crazy antics and life of this fictional police force. The makers of the show know how to make something fun in each episode without having to have a deep plot.
