Quiet with lots of cold air

I have 4 of these..split between 2 apts. Lots of cold air. The newest one is requiring water to be drained in a matter of 5 days while the other 3 have never required water draining. Also has a sour smell. If I return, it will be the 2nd time. First one had a noisy fan.
