We have a 10 handset 4 phone line system in our office which gives us a lot of flexibility. But working and keeping any handset precariously pinned between your ear and neck is cumbersome, non-ergonomic and frequently embarrassing (when you drop someone on the floor). We tried headsets from Panasonic, Plantronics and AT&T (the phone system's manufacturer) and none have stood up to these. The goose neck microphone is sturdy and the sound is clear. My (minor) complaint would be that a longer cord would be better - but it hasn't stopped us from getting one for each handset.

Running cables in an office is annoying and cumbersome. Running multiple cables through that little hole in the desktop even more so. I added a third monitor on my desk from a workstation that I moved to the corner (instead of down by my feed. Adding 3 of these long, flexible and thin cables was easier than getting the other two out. They are ultimately easier to manage and conceal.

Bought a new printer/scanner combo that can scan to the network or a usb drive. Most drives stick out 1.5 inches. Because the printer was behind my desk, I was constantly bumping the drive and finally broke it. These little drives are so low profile that you barely know they are there. Perfect for a linux boot disk or external source for your car stereo - anywhere that you will leave a usb for extended periods. And of course it is SanDisk. Which means reliable.

I drive for my job I was wondering if this is good for hands free while driving?
You can - but these have a 2.5 mm jack. Most cell phones have a 3.5 mm jack so you will need an adapter. We use these in our office for our landline handsets but purchased several adapters online for about 2 bucks each so that people could use them with their cell phones as well. If you don't want to go to bluetooth, I'd say these are a pretty good alternative. I like the way they sound better than most in-line headphone microphones which dangle down by your chest. They also seem to be less susceptible to ambient noise.
