A truly-professional television!

Verified Purchase:Yes
I own a computer consulting company, & am a video director & producer, so I have seen many, many televisions, but the LG OLED technology blows them all away! I'm still exploring the many features it offers, but I was easily able to tune the screen's performance to exactly what I prefer, connected it to all three of my LANs, & hooked up all four HDMI appliances with no problem. The perfect blacks & excellent dynamic color range is by far the best I've seen. Oh, one more thing: My company is a Samsung reseller, & I could have bought their top-of-the-line 4K TV for about 1/3 the price of the LG...but I didn't!

I would recommend this to a friend!

I have an old Toshiba TV which I bought in 1996. I am looking for a dvd recorder and player. What is the best option for me?

The TV is 42 inches and is an old fashioned big box TV. Will blue ray work? What is the minimum technology I need to get a decent picture?
Your old Toshiba has a resolution (720 X 480) that makes it incompatible with BluRay technology (minimum 1920 X 1080). Go down to Best Buy & pick up a 42" HD TV for $200, & all of your problems will go away.

printer to a wireless network

Can I connect a Lexmark usb 2300 printer to a wireless network and is a 1-Port USB 2.0 Print Server basically all I'll need?
This isn't a TV question.

But you can simply connect the printer via USB to any computer on the network, & then Share it for the other machines, wired or not.

Bluray to receiver via HDMI no sound

I have a Sony Bluray (BDP-S480) hooked up to a Pioneer receiver (VSX-40) via HDMI. Im getting picture but no sound. When I hook the BD directly to the TV using the same HDMI cable I get sound.
Pioneer told me to call sony it might be a setting with the BD, Sony told me to call Pioneer.
It's likely that the DVD you're playing has DRM (Digital Rights Management) enabled, so the HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) breaks the link. Sometimes it's audio, other times video, & sometimes both. Check out http://www.howtogeek.com/208917/htg-explains-how-hdcp-breaks-your-hdtv-and-how-to-fix-it/ for info you can use.
