great for streaming but needs reliable WiFi networ

I already owned one when I purchased this one but my shopping experience was great. Best buy price matched my product with out Hassel. Now for the chromecast; great streaming product simple installation. You do need to download an app to program but it only takes a few minutes and you YouTube or Netflix ready. The but con you need a good reliable WiFi Internet connection. I don't have a problem at home but did give my parents one that looses connection due to poor WiFi strength

Can I use this w/tv and wifi Do I have to hook to a pc or android?

You plug it directly to the TV amd activate it with the chromecast app either with your phone, tablet, or computer. It's streams from your personal device. It doest work independently
