Read the specs on it at the store and I liked the fact that it had 12GB memory standard, i.e., I didn't have to purchase/add additional memory and that it had at minimum an i5 processor.
So far this computer handles Windows 10 much faster/better than the one it replaced, a Gateway with 4GB I purchased for my husband from Best Buy in 2009 (upgraded the RAM to 16GB to better handle windows 10 and encountered massive problems. It seems the extra memory slots were bad according to Geek Squad so I had to reuse the two existing slots to make it 8GB and I still had issues).
The only downside to this Dell I have seen so far, we've only had it for three weeks, is that 1) since it's a midsize tower, it doesn't fit in the space that was occupied by the old Gateway and 2) the CD\DVD player seems rather cheaply made. Once it is released, you have to manually pull it out and push it in to close it. All other computers I have purchased opened/closed the CD\DVD player automatically.
As for my husband, other than the massive effort/headache of transferring/installing software/data to the new system, he seems to like it well enough.

We have not had it that long so the experience is limited. However, I have noticed that films start up immediately, i.e., no lag time. In addition, since we have not had any 4K discs it is hard to say about the 4K quality. Overall it looks good.

Picture quality takes some tweaking

It's been approx 1 month since I purchased this TV. The initial problem I had with the TV came with trying to find a setting that didn't cause a motion blur and/or soap opera effect.
I went back to Best Buy after a couple of days after purchase to get assistance with finding a setting that worked 95% of the time i.e., provides a good picture regardless of whether I'm watching regular TV, blu-ray, roku, or chromecast. We were told to try the sports setting and/or talk to geek squad. My husband and I went over to the geek squad and the recommendation was to do a replace/exchange.
We exchanged the TV and the problem still occurred. I tried the sports setting and it was just as bad. In the end, I ended up using the "Natural" color and modifying the sharpness (increased it to 65) in addition to a few other tweaks. So, it's about 90% OK for most viewing. Occasionally, I will get a soap opera effect with a blur however it seems more to do with the source of the broadcast (analog vs digital, etc). I did consider getting it calibrated however I read many negative reviews that it wasn't worth the money. People still had a bad picture.
I do not know what the 4K is like since I have yet to watch anything with that filmed in 4K. I guess I need to search Netflix for a show that I haven't seen yet.

Good tv for the price

Originally purchased the Samsung LED 46" for my mother since she has wanted an LED for some time. I was thoroughly disappointed at the quality of the picture with both HD and non HD sources (DirectTv and Roku) and the issue of the picture constantly auto focusing like a camera lens (picture was always blurred and causing headaches).
After talking with the Best Buy rep he recommended going with a plasma. I personally own a 60" Pioneer Elite which is no longer being sold. I asked what was the next best that they offered and the rep mentioned the Panasonic since they supposedly purchased the technology from Pioneer.
I purchased this model because it didn't make sense to pay more money for the other model since a wireless adapter would have to be purchased in addition to not really needing the features of a smart tv.
The tv was simple to set up, however I wish it came with more composite/component connections. I guess most manufacturers are doing this in order to get people to purchase the latest versions of Tivo, DVD players, etc. The picture is excellent without having to switch to DirectTv's HD service. The cannot speak to the tv's speakers and sound quality since I have it connected to a home theater receiver.
My mother has not had any complaints as far as difficulty of use as far as the remote control or any other features (72 years old and works/understands a Tivo better than I). She loves the picture quality (no headaches), she can see the tv from the other side of the room with no problems and really enjoys the deepness of the colors.
The price was also reasonable ($699).
