Great, inexpensive subwoofer

I got this to replace another Sony subwoofer that wore out and had severe distortion. That was only 8" and 50 watts. This new one sounds very good and is only slightly bigger than my old one. All the setting controls are in back. They include level and cutoff frequency dials, phase switch, power save switch and power button. There are terminals for speakers but I connected my receiver directly using the line-in jack. Everyone with a home theater system should have a subwoofer. It adds a lot of depth to the overall sound.

I'm not sure why this is exclusive to Best Buy but if you're a fan of 3D, this is the version to get. The movie itself is very entertaining and a worthy sequel to the two previous films. The video and audio are both high quality. Unfortunately, the bonus features are mostly fluff with very little behind-the-scenes information - not even a commentary.

This hand-drawn animated film from France is one of the best of the year with great characters, a clever plot and amazing visuals. The video quality is excellent. The audio is very good, too, but unfortunately only the English dub has a lossless track. The original French track is DTS Digital Surround but it still sounds quite good. The making-of featurette is short but informative.

Thomas Newman's best Pixar score

Thomas Newman's third score for Pixar after "Finding Nemo" and "Wall-e" is easily the best. The music reprises some themes from "Nemo" but that's to be expected as it connects the two films together. Most of the score is completely new and it's rich and dynamic. Fans of Newman's music won't be disappointed.

John Williams does it again

I haven't heard a John Williams score that I didn't like. This one is reminiscent of "Harry Potter", "The Adventures of Tintin" and "Hook". All those are fantasy-adventure films so it's fitting for this one. I think it's not quite as good as some of his other scores but anything by Williams is going to be great. Another successful collaboration with Steven Spielberg.

I had read all the books but not seen any of the movies before buying this complete collection. The film makers have done an excellent job adapting the books. The video and audio are both nearly perfect with Dolby Atmos tracks on the two "Mockingjay" films. The bonus features are extensive with each film getting its own documentary (more than two hours each) plus multiple featurettes. A sixth bonus disc adds even more material although some of it is repeated from the individual films' bonus features. The easter eggs from the original blu-ray releases are still there. All in all a good deal for four movies.

The Roku 2 works very well. It was easy to set up but I needed some assistance from a customer service rep. Regular set up requires a credit card or Paypal account. I chose not to subscribe to any channels so I was able to set it up without the credit card with the rep's help. There are plenty of free channels to watch. Load times are fast. Video and audio are nearly as good as Blu-ray on some channels. I had some slight buffering issues but it wasn't too distracting. My only concern was there is no power off button. So I just unplug it when not in use. It starts up immediately when plugged back in with all my favorite channels intact.

Another great Giacchino score

This score is up there with two of my other favorites from Michael Giacchino and Pixar: "The Incredibles" and "Ratatouille". This one has the feel of contemporary pop instrumentals of 40 or 50 years ago. Even the package design echoes that with the look of a jazz album cover from the 1950's or 1960's. The disc also includes the entire soundtrack from "Lava" - the short film that precedes "Inside Out". The liner notes has all the lyrics and narration from the short, too.

Razor is lightweight and works well. The first charge lasted more than 3 weeks. When it was time to recharge, I was able to use it while it was plugged in. This is the first cordless Norelco I've ever had that was able to do that.
