The seventh and final season of the adaptation of Charlaine Harris' Southern vampire novels begins with a vampire-human mixer at Bellefleur's, née Merlotte's, in full swing, but a gruesome attack by a band of Hep V-infected bloodsuckers throws Bon Temps into chaos and prompts a wave of spiteful finger-pointing at one of its most well-known residents--Sookie (Anna Paquin). Meanwhile, Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) tries to convince Andy (Chris Bauer) she's desperate to atone for her past mistakes; Bill (Stephen Moyer) recalls his pre-Civil War life; Jason (Ryan Kwanten) has an awkward reunion with an old friend; Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) helps Lettie Mae (Adina Porter) resolve her tumultuous relationship with Tara (Rutine Wesley); and Pam (Kristin Bauer Van Straten) searches the globe for Eric (Alexander Skarsgård)--assuming he's still alive!
I was extremely satisfied with the way Season Seven ended the TRUEBLOOD series. Fans of the previous six seasons will not be displeased with Season Seven - although most will be sad that this series has ended.
The third season of this horror anthology series is set primarily at a secret school for witches in New Orleans. After an absence in Season 2, Taissa Farmiga returns to the show as Zoe Benson, a young woman who unexpectedly discovers that she possesses a dangerous supernatural ability. She's sent to the special Louisiana school--which is run by Headmistress Cordelia Foxx (Sarah Paulson)--where she embarks on spell-filled adventures with fellow witches Madison Montgomery (Emma Roberts), Nan (Jamie Brewer) and Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe). Jessica Lange is also back as Fiona Goode, a powerful witch chasing eternal life, while Evan Peters plays frat boy Kyle Spencer in his return. Other familiar faces include Denis O'Hare and Lily Rabe, while newcomers Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett bring fresh excitement to the talented cast.
This is a highly rated TV series. The acting is very good. For fans of this particular brand of horror, you will not be disappointed. This series contains horror, humor, love, shock - everything a fan needs in order to be thoroughly entertained.
This hard hitting release from the historical drama series Vikings includes all 10 episodes of the show's second season, following the dramatic adventures of Medieval Scandinavian warriors.
I only purchase TV series that come out on DVD after I have seen a few of the episodes as shown on TV. I had already seen Season One of the Vikings. I knew that the acting, the scenery, and the historical basis for the plot lines were incredible. I did not hesitate to purchase Season 2. I was not disappointed with this purchase.
