So far I am just loving the compact size of this drive, not to mention the transfer speeds, and the ease of use.
I had been looking some backup storage for a little while but didn't want a standard flash drive or an SD card, but I also didn't want a full size external hard drive. This is the perfect form factor, about the size of a playing card and the thickness of ~20 cards, it is easy to pop into a pocket or bag, but not so small that it's easy to misplace.
I have already put several gigabytes of documents on it and the transfer speeds were fantastic. Older drives of mine can take their time with larger files, but this drive just beats them all.
Really enjoying this one so far, and I might have to get a second one. I would absolutely recommend it.

This lighting kit is really interesting and fun to use, but it seriously lacks in its ease of set up from a technological standpoint.
The good:
This kit comes with 9 square panels and everything you need to hook them up and mount them to the wall. The mobile app is easy to use and is really helpful. In fact you can come up with ways to mount the lights very easily using the helpful layout generator in the app.
The colors are very vivid and programming your own color patterns is a lot of fun to do. These panels can get very bright, which I did not expect at all. They can get bright enough to add some fun useable light in a room, much more than the novelty I had expected.
The touch sensitivity of each panel is interesting but I haven’t figured out how to make anything useful of it just yet.

The bad:
Set up was an abject pain.
If you haven’t used HomeKit for iOS yet, you have to jump through all of the hoops to get that working, which in my case was ten times more difficult than I had expected it to be. (It’s an Apple thing, how hard could it be? Famous last words.) In my particular instance HomeKit couldn’t be turned on without disabling and setting up iCloud on my iPhone again. (Apparently this is a thing certain users experience, gathering from the hundreds of folks asking this same question online.) Once I got that figured out, I was already nearly 1.5hrs in and a little annoyed. Then I had to get this running with my network which these panels will ONLY work on a 2.4ghz connection. So I had to change some settings on my router and Force a 2.4ghz connection on a 5ghz router. I was now about 2+hrs into this and a little more annoyed. Now to proceed setting up the panels in the app; and they just wouldn’t work. It kept just rejecting the set up repeatedly. So I started digging around on Nanoleaf’s site for help and FINALLY after 15mins of searching for something more than the promos for the kit, I find the help page and it was not very helpful. Just from dealing with technology over the years I figured it was time to reset the panels to factory default and hope for the best. I tried holding the power for several seconds, I tried button combos, mixing and matching like a freaking button alchemist trying to find the golden combo, but nothing worked. I had to dig around for info for on their site again and came across how to reset the older kits, but this new kit’s info was buried deep in their site. I had found the mines of Moria and the Balrog had surfaced. You have to hold power and dim together, the one combo I didn’t try. Once the reset was finished I was finally able to get these panels to work.
I am at like 3hrs in at this point and the fun of seeing the panels glow in colors that would make a unicorn dance was just not satisfying enough for all of the painstaking effort it required.

This is coming from someone who creates software for a living. I am a tech enthusiast at home with audio, gaming, video, and networking as hobbies. I write firmware for my keyboards for fun. If this was such a pain for someone like me, well let’s just say that I hope my experiences are not the standard.
These are fun panels once you get them up on the wall and working, but the mountain I had to climb to get some lights to turn on was not quite balanced with the reward.

This player has really impressed me. We recently upgraded our TV and have been on the lookout for a 4K video source to take full advantage of our new display. This player fit the bill!
Let me hit on some of the things I particularly enjoy:
Instant on - as soon as you press the power button on the remote the TV is on and at the root menu of the player. No boot-up sequences, no loading ads, just on. If you hit the "Netflix" button on your remote it boots directly into Netflix and you don't even see the root menu.
Image up scaling - When viewing a standard HD signal, like a standard Blu-ray or standard Netflix, it really does an amazing job. The image is crisp and is makes every movie we've watched look better than than when watching them on other devices or players
Video processing - When watching UHD video that supports HDR processing they look absolutely breathtaking. My wife and I both have commented "I swear that looked better at home versus when we saw that in theaters!" The colors are bright and vibrant. Motion is smooth. Contrast is rich. Speaking of contrast, we have noticed scenes that have looked dark in movies previously are actually watchable now, no more "what happened in that scene" type comments.
Satisfyingly laid out remote - It's a no frills kind of thing. Just the essentials and some extras in a useful arrangement. This might seem minor, but dealing with more convoluted layouts will make you feel thankful for this thoughtful design. No to mention how well it fits in the hand. Really well done all around.
Snappy app response - When you want to hop out of YouTube and back into Netflix there are no waiting times. We previously would use our PS4 for a lot of media consumption. But there are so many delays of closing one app and loading another, "Oh you are at the media section, time to make you wait while we load ads." From now on we are using the player for those items, it's just so nice to be instantly on and already watching a movie or video in less than 5 seconds.
If it isn't obvious yet, I LOVE this player. It is totally worth it.

I have been using this mouse for a couple of weeks and figured I had enough experience now to post my review.
The packaging the mouse comes in is somewhere between a microwave dinner box and a fancy USB cable. I suppose it did arrive undamaged, but the box was a bit bent out of shape because of the thin card the walls of the box are made of.
Inside the box it was pretty bare bones too. It was just the mouse, warranty info and a sticker. But the box felt heavier than just those items, and I will get to why.
The mouse itself feels a bit light. Lighter than my DeathAdder I had been using previously. But the part that shocked me, and the reason the box felt heavier, was the cord. The weight comes from the metal cord. This isn't just your usual metal braid either. Honestly, it's hard to describe, but it's almost as if there was a fine spiral of metal wound around the cord. Almost like it was one of those hollow necklace chains that has plenty of flex to it. This makes the cord heavy, heavier than you expect.

When plugging in the mouse the imbalance of the weights became apparent very quickly, as the heavy cord was plugged in to my computer, the cord started pulling the mouse off the desk just by the sheer weight of the cable. I had to fiddle around with how to prevent this from happening and ended up leaving a large portion of the cord coiled up on my desktop like snake. Not very pretty, but whatever it works I suppose. Loner term I might attach the cord to my desk via a hook or something.
I think there is some software you can use to control the mouse, but I am not a fan of mouse software, so I ran with this in Plug-n-Play. You can adjust the DPI via a button on top of the mouse, just below the scroll wheel. They have a decoder chart as to what color is what DPI, so as you press the button you can know what you are selecting. But you will need that chart if you like to swap it up because the colors are not super clear. I was thinking "Hmm is this violet, or purple?" I had to cycle through the colors a few times to truly see the difference in the colors.

I also initially felt that the mouse was a little sticky on my mouse pad. Well come to find out a week later there is a film on the mouse feet! There was not any mention of this in the documentation.

The adjustable body takes some fiddling with to get it right. The mechanism feels pretty cheap (mostly because of the lightweight mouse body) but stood up to my messing with it. Once you get it right, you will not want to touch the latch since the mechanism is spring loaded.
Overall this mouse is alright. It does the job, if not a little imbalanced.
Personally I will probably swap back to my DeathAdder soon.

This is a great monitor, with some minor settings adjustments. But let me go into more detail.
First the monitor is made really well. The base is really sturdy and adjusts very nicely. You can raise and lower the monitor a good deal (somewhere in the range of 8-12" or so). You can also rotate the monitor 90º which is a cool addition. I wouldn't mind a little more tilt, but it's adequate. The footprint of the base is a bit wide, but since it has more of you might call "legs" rather than a base, you can kind of arrange your desk items around them. One nice feature is a hole in the stand to pass your cables through.
The monitor bezel is so thin it's nearly invisible, which is visually pleasing. The finish on the screen itself is a matte finish which works best for my office with the direction the light comes in. The USB ports are also helpful for other peripherals that might need temporary connections for charging.
I have connected it to my GPU via display port. I find that the display is incredibly sharp and at 240hz it's buttery smooth. Out of the box the colors were a bit muted and required some research and tweaking. I found some user made ICC profiles on Reddit that proved helpful. But after some time tweaking the display it looks really great. If we had some more manufacturer support in this, that would be great. Thankfully there is a community out there to help each other out.
Also an area that is lacking with this monitor is the documentation. The quickstart guide that comes with the display essentially just tells you to plug it in and you are ready to go. There is some documentation about the various settings, but it completely leaves out a few or has descriptions that do not elucidate anything. (i.e. "Overdrive: Allows you to set overdrive" but what does this setting even do?) When looking online this seems to be the only "manual" available, even from the manufacturer's site.
I had to do some research about how to get GSYNC enabled, but once I did my games have looked absolutely stunning. No screen tearing, and buttery smooth motion. I am a big FPS lover and I have been really enjoying the personal performance improvement I have been seeing.
One last thing, the included cables feel a little short for my set up, I couple of extra feet would have been nice. So be aware of that going in.
Overall I have really been enjoying this upgrade to my set up. It is a really fantastic piece of equipment, but I would enjoy some extra manufacturer support to help us out getting things set to their optimum out of the box.

Great headphones for some study or alone time

These headphones really do a great job of separating yourself from your surroundings. They have some great sound, for sure above average but not as good as some really high end headphones.
They fit nicely over the head and have a little weight to them to help them stay in place, but that can be a curse sometimes. For instance, wearing them around the house doing chores they can start to move if you bend over and etc. The most ideal setting is when you are just wanting to sit and read, study, or travel.
The touch controls are very handy and pretty responsive too. It takes a little bit to get used to especially the fact that the controls only work on the very inside of the right ear. I find myself wanting to swipe around the edge of the hard shell to turn volume up and down, but it's only the inner circle that is sensitive.
The noise cancellation is superb, you absolutely feel separated from the rest of the world. Sitting in a moderately busy coffee shop I didn't hear anyone around me.
Battery life has been pretty close to the as advertised life, I have only charged it a couple of times so far and I don't really worry about it dying on me while out and about.
They also have a ability to answer calls and it really does a great job of picking up your voice and people on the other end have no idea that you are talking to them through another device.

Great sound system in a small package

This system is a great little soundbar and subwoofer combo.
The soundbar itself is very small and can easily be tucked into your existing entertainment center, being only ~4in tall and just over 12in wide. Its sound quality packs quite the punch too with great volume and definition. I did notice some minor distortions with certain frequencies at louder volumes while listening to music. I also enjoy the vocal boosting options. If you have had problems with the background of movies or TV clouding your ability to hear the dialogue, this feature is for you. Nighttime mode is also helpful to trim the low end frequencies and rumble so you can still enjoy at later hours without disturbing others.
The subwoofer was INCREDIBLY easy to set up. You just plug it in. The soundbar and woofer connect to each other and transmit wirelessly. The only set back to this that I have noticed a very slight delay between the units. The delay is not noticeable to the casual listener, but if you are using it for dedicated listening (especially music you are very familiar with) you might notice bass hits being off just ever so slightly. With video this delay is not noticeable at all since bass hits aren't set to a rhythm.
Overall I feel this is a great 2.1 system for a major upgrade to your standard built-in speakers or as a solution for a basic sound setup.

Incredible little speaker

I didn't exactly know what to expect from such a small speaker initially. I have used similarly sized speakers before and not had great experiences with volume and they wind up sounding tinny.
I was was honestly blown away by this speaker! The volume that you can get from this tiny package is incredible. I immediately loaded up some bass heavy tracks that have made larger speakers pop and buzz. This speaker (at max volume mind you) didn't pop or buzz once. I am totally blown away.
There are some really cool features too, such as linking two units together as left and right speakers. The bass fluting on the bottom of the unit really directs the low-end away from the base so that it doesn't vibrate around like other speakers will. The build quality is great and it feels very solid.
Overall, I think this speaker is great buy. I am quite impressed and have already thought about getting a second to link them together.

My floors have never been cleaner

My tile looks amazing after using this mop. Being able to flip the mop head and use the steam blast is a really great feature as it does get stubborn junk cleared. The mop takes about 30 seconds or so to start producing steam once turned on and will keep making noise for a minute after being turned off. The on and off button is on the body of the mop instead of the handle which is somewhat inconvenient. The mop does seem cheaply made so I am skeptical about how long I will be able to enjoy this product. These two reasons are why I give it an overall 4 star rating.

Great display for everyday use

This display is interesting and not exactly what you might expect just looking at pictures online.
First off, the display is VERY thin. It seems they pushed all of the electronics to the bottom area of the display, since there is a thick part there.
The power supply is more of a laptop style with a DC adapter, rather than the standard plug. This has positives such as the small cord and the ability to hide the cord. But there is a negative side that you have a power brick that you have to deal with.
The matte finish on the screen is very nice for scenarios in which glare might be an issue.
Overall this display has served very well as a general use computer display.

I cannot connect directly to my TV because of location, can I connect this directly to the cable box?
As long as the sound output oprtions from your cable box matches one of the inputs for this set, then you are good to go! My guess is that as long as your box is "newer" (from the last 5 years or so) then you will have no problems.

Can you use water only with this steam mop or do you have to purchase a solution?
Yes. I only use water in the steam tank. The mop does come with a separate handle that attaches to the mop head so you can use the same head without any steam. There is a refillable spray bottle that comes with a cleaning solution to use on hard floors with the no steam version of the mop.

I have a house built in 1930 and it is 1000 sq. ft. up and 1000 sq. ft. basement. I have 2 wifi extenders because of the solid brick and plaster walls to pick up better signal in dead areas. I currently have a Netgear 55 router. Would this work better?
I would think that it would almost definitely would. I can cover 2300 sqft with maximum signal in every room.

Apartment use. Currently have a TimeWarner modem router and an extender in living room. parts of living room are slow and gaps. will these replace the modem router and will range be better?

What is the user interface / app like? Does it have the ability to control the setup and individual device control like the EERO and LUMA have? I currently have a R8000 and it won't cover the home and the interface does not provide much control over wor
I know you can use the Netgear Genie app on your phone/device to control it, but the settings there are not the full list of settings available in the main interface.
That being said, you can view all devices connected to the network and block them, add parental controls, manage media from attached hard drives (via USB port on router/range extender), view a traffic meter, reboot the router, and look at the general set up of the router.
Accessing the settings on the router itself has a nice interface. Lots of options, with basic and advanced menus. You can do all of the above and a ton more granular settings.

Q I am looking for1 Orbi router and 3 Orbi satellites for my big home, since Netgear is not giving the option to buy satellites individually ,will I be able to order two boxes of Orbi and be able to use one of Orbi router as a satellite ,? interchange
That is correct. As I was looking through the settings in the router I noticed you could make the router enter "Access Point" mode. I didn't understand why someone would need to do that, but it looks like now I know!

Will this product cover a 2000 sq. ft., one level house with only one (1) WiFi Name? The reason for this question is I'm currently using an extension to my router which has given the front of the house a different wifi name from the back of the house.
I have this system in a 2300 sqft home and have full signal throughout my house. That is correct you will only have one wifi network name. I have loved that I don't have to deal with two wireless network names. It is seamless across my place.
