While I was excited about the features on this model not found anywhere else, I have returned mine for a full refund. First dishwasher to arrive was professionally installed only for the installers to turn it on and find the digital display glowing (power to it) rather than displaying. He said it was "water damage" and the THIRD ONE he's experienced like this. He said I'd be able to call Best Buy and they'd arrange an exchange for a brand new one. Yes, BB said they'd do that: in 5 weeks. Meanwhile they'd send Geek Squad to repair the broken one so I had something while waiting for the swap. The GS repair request was called in with all the details: GE model number and symptoms. But two weeks later 2 hours was wasted waiting for a GS member to arrive, read the model number and call in for a part, to be delivered and the repair scheduled for the following week. 6 days later, the date was pushed back since they didn't have the part. Then a week later it was pushed back again for another week. Then, another caller stated they found a replacement dishwasher for the brand new DW exchange. Another several hours wasted as this 2nd brand new out of the box DW also had the same water damage problem with the display. Enough! The delivery guys took away both dishwashers yesterday, and this morning I write this as I've been on hold with BB CS (25 minutes now, it seems) while they call different departments internally to process the refund. No arguments yet, but this is just the usual complete waste of time while dealing with BB. As I've shared my experience, others have questioned WHY I'd by a GE appliance, as I they've said my experience described with poor product is the norm. Couple this with Best Buy's Time Wasting Customer experience ( I was right: the agent, who is still calling around did confirm that we've been on the phone for an excess of 25 minutes,) and I can't see myself ever venturing near their appliance department again.
