This is a magnificent piece of technology. The picture quality is stunning with its 1080p HD display. The DTS TruSurround with the 2 built-in speakers produces tremendous sound that eliminates the need for a soundbar. 3 HDMI ports is fantastic. So, okay... yes, The Force Awakens mirrors, mimics, echoes many of the beats of Episode IV ( A New Hope ). This DOES NOT detract from the fact that this entry in the Stars Wars franchise is a fun, exciting experience. What helps this picture is that it has some of what Episodes I, II, & III lacked: heart & soul. Seeing returning characters, embracing the newcomers... genuinely feeling the emotions they conveyed, has me excited & intrigued for what the future holds.

I was pleased with the return of Sarah Butler in the lead role. Her performance was the visceral force of the 2010 remake of ' I Spit on Your Grave '. However, this time around the story just didn't have that same spirit. Seeing Jennifer devolve into a violent criminal w/ homicidal tendencies was a bit of a letdown. I understood the 'vengeance' part, especially with what happens to her friend ( among others ). The social commentary on the plight of assault victims is sadly a reality for many people ( young girls, women, & males ). It is heartbreaking. As it pertains to this movie, though, it takes a backseat to Jennifer's selfish gratification... which may very well be the point of this character's arc. Recommend for those who are fans of this franchise.

Which HDMI cable do I need to connect a Blu-ray DVD player to this tv? The types of HDMI cables to choose from is YUUUUGE!
Yes, there are a number of brands of HDMI cables. However, I have found that the name on the packaging really doesn't make a difference. As long as you get one within your budget (a good deal of HDMI cables are inexpensive) and are the right length to connect your blu-ray to the HDTV (I would recommend 6' to be on the safe side)... you should be fine.

What is the distance between the outermost part of the leg stands? I have a table that is 30" wide and need to know whether this will fit.
The outer most part of the leg stands are 28 inches apart.
