High Capacity Not So High

Sony - NP-FW50 High-Capacity Lithium-Ion Battery used for Sony a6000 camera.
The Positives - Provides energy to the camera but...
The Negatives - Does not hold a charge very long. I'm averaging 500 pictures and the battery is going below 20%. I purchased two batteries and will now need to purchase a third one. I had to use two batteries while photographing a professional baseball game (6 hours and less than 1200 pictures). My Nikon D7000 camera battery would last that long without having to use a back up battery.

The Positives - Love the design of this tripod. Pretty easy to set up quickly. The flip levers to adjust the height work easily as well. Not too heavy (1.85 lbs)
The Negatives - Does not come with a case to carry and it is a bit of challenge to carry places while carrying other camera equipment. Also, I have a Sony a6000 camera and the screw in the top does not get tight and allows for the camera to move a bit.

The Negatives - The outside pockets are not designed well. The way these outside pockets open (one (1) zipper for each pocket) you will need to keep an eye on your extra batteries, memory and your power cord to make sure they do not drop when open those side pockets. This bag is also kind of heavy for it's size. Also, there is a no real way to organize batteries, memory or extra filters in this bag.

First Mirrorless DSLR Camera

I had previously purchased a Nikon D7000 and it is a fantastic camera but very very heavy to carry during events where movement is constant. I had been hired to photograph a professional baseball promotional event and needed a lightweight DSLR. I'm still learning the basic techniques for DSLR cameras but thus far this camera is so smart. It offers lots of automated features, as well as updates that add to your experience. If you're new to DSLRs, the fact that this camera can set up a temporary WiFi signal to push photos to your Smartphone (after you download the Sony Play Memories Mobile app) is a tremendous timesaver if you want to electronically post your pictures now rather than later to any website.

What carrying case will fit this bundle?
Yes but it will be tight. No more than two lenses (one already installed on the camera) will fit well in this very tight bag with two batteries and the charge cable.
