just wondering if it has a spare port to add an ssd
Yes, you have to pop open a compartment on the bottom and take out 3 small screws. That's it, plug and play.

Video editing
How does this laptop fair with video editing programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro?
I had to add 8 GB of RAM (from 8GB to 16GB) and now it runs all my wife's video editing software just fine. Once I added an SSD it really blew us away.
