As a Harry Potter fan, you may have wondered what the wizarding world in The New World must be like. Well, now you have an idea, thanks to this movie. Even though it's part of Potterverse, it feels very original and captivating. I know people who don't think highly of the Potter series (yes they do exist out there) who enjoyed this movie, and if they did you certainly will.
This combo of both stories is good to have if you want a look at classic Disney animation, but don't want to sit through a full-length feature. The Mr. Toad feature could be used to encourage to read the actual "The Wind in the Willows" book it's liberally lifted from. The Headless Horseman story is alright, though played a bit too much for laughs. Still, not so bad to have on the kiddies' Halloween viewing list.
While following the standard Disney formula, Hercules works because its villain, Hades (voiced by James Woods), makes it worth a look. Plus a few jokes are better than might seem-- if you're a history geek that is.
It's great to have the extras so you can get a sense of how it felt for all the principal people when 10 years of their lives came to its end. it's a delight and sad at the same time.
If you ever wanted an idea of how it looked, sounded and even felt to be at a Beatles concert, this is the DVD for you. The insights from the Beatles themselves is wonderful. The additional commentary from others is helpful as well.
