Criterion releases are usually amazing for me. This one is no exception. The picture quality is fantastic, the presentation feels premium. The price is a little higher, but I always know I'm getting quality. The movie itself is a trip, literally and figuratively (for the characters). I'm sure you are well aware of the subject matter, and what you're getting into.
If not, well it's certainly not for children. Can I speak of the indulgences these men enjoy as they go on their journey on this website? Probably not. Do a little research before blind buying, if you have sensitive ears and eyes.
If you know the movie, love the movie, then just buy the movie.

I am. I'm a big fan of the Note series. It's big, beautiful, and has a clicky stylus. Click, click, CLICKCLICKCLICK. Extra star for clicking stylus.
The screen is amazing quality, everything is going to look beautiful. The camera quality feels like quite the upgrade to me, and I tend to shoot on professional quality DSLRs. Touchwiz is always a pleasure, maybe I'm the only one that thinks so.
It lost a star from me because it's missing the SD card slot. I grabbed the 64 GB version, which is typically all the space I'll use, so it balances out. I know I'll eventually fill it, hence the star removal. I'm also not a fan of the glass build. I'm just afraid I'll ruin it, so I have to baby the phone. I'm probably alone in this, but I miss the plastic. I'm sure you'll see it differently, the glass and metal REALLY look nice.
Compatibility with Gear VR is a plus, and it operates better on the Note 5 than it does on the S-series teeny tiny phones. (They're not so tiny anymore, gawl.) Try not to have a ton of things running, it WILL get hot. Not as hot as the S6/7, fortunately.
I suppose that's all, I'm sure if you're looking into this phone you already made up your mind. Either it's too big, or it's the most amazing piece of love ever. BUY IT. FORGET THE MISSING STAR, just buy it.
This Manfrotto MKCOMPACTADV-B tripod features a 3-way head, 2 levers and a locking system to secure your compatible DSLR camera, so you can capture clear, steady shots. The foldable lever and carrying bag ensure compact storage and transport.
I bought this for shooting video, and feel I made a huge mistake. Of course.
Is it a terrible tripod? NOPE. It's excellent for photography. It feels tough. It's tall. It has decent movement for placing/framing your shots.
For a similar price lesser tripods have bubble levels. This does not. It also makes a slight squish, probably from overgreasing the rotating mechanism. These are the only reasons I removed a star.
If you want to shoot video, go for something else!
This SanDisk Extreme Pro SDSDXP-064G-A46 64GB SDXC UHS-I memory card features Power Core technology to support real-time, full high-definition 3D video and continuous burst mode with more shots saved.
If you're looking to record in 4k video, this is probably the card you want. The write speed isn't the maximum available, but if you want higher you'll have to shell out an extra 100+ dollars. If you need more size, simply pick a higher GB option.

This camera is amazing. It's extremely lightweight, shoots in 4k, and has an easy to use interface.
There's a lot said about the G7 in a hundred different places on the internet, so I'll only reiterate in slight.
For the price point, you get a ton of features. The video quality is pretty much the same as the GH4, so if you want to tighten up your budget and get more accessories, go for this one. You'll lose audio out, and v-log, the metal build of the GH4, weather sealing, 96 FPS slow motion shooting, and a few 4k settings, but I have yet to be affected by this.
If you're just starting, get this. Worry less about your equipment and pixels and audio and going crazy spending dollars on the best of the best. Worry more about the movie you want to make, your vision.
