Great receiver could be just a little better

I bought this initially for our bedroom but then transferred it to pair with a new Vizio 4k tv. Still have not been able to test 4k60 on any of my connected computers but this works great for passthrough and connected devices. The one area where it fails is setting up second zone (which is why it is no longer in our bedroom) If you hope to set up two sound systems on one receiver look elsewhere as second zone can only do bluetooth and network sound. I'm sure this will work for some but I don't want competing sounds in neighboring rooms. I'll stick with AppleTVs and soundbars for now as a cheaper alternative.

Had a new 4k capable receiver speakers, and appropriate gauge cable but didn't have any banana plugs so I stopped by my local best buy for an impulse buy. These fit the bill, are moderately easy to use and don't seem to interfere with the sound in any way (I'd prefer a straight connection but it was not possible with this receiver.)

I didn't take the time to callibrate it so my review is probably a little biased. Amazon app did weird aspect ratio changing in middle of scenes which caused me to return it. Other content looked decent enough, but overall I wasn't impressed as I was with P series in store. I had read reviews that they were roughly equivalent in performance but I found this not to be the case, especially since this model doesn't even do 4:4:4 chroma which is a must for my usage. I also don't believe this has HDCP 2.2 for future proofing 4k blu ray.

I was looking at upgrading my bedroom TV but was disappointed with the 2015 Vizio M series and ended up replacing my living room TV instead. This has HDCP 2.2 and HDMI2.0 not to mention to 120Hz unlike other value 4k on the market today. UHD content from Amazon and Netflix is great not to mention watching my GoPro 4k videos in full 4:4:4 on connected Mac. If you have to buy a new TV now, don't buy into soon to be outdated resolution, buy for the future without breaking the bank.

I wanted to replace my 4th gen iPad I sold but I was not happy with pricing. Thankfully this holiday season saw plenty of discounts on full size Airs and the 2nd gen Mini. I've been using this for 4 months now and am very happy I snagged it for half the price I spent on my 4th gen two years ago (which I sold for 80% of value).

How many hours of gopro recording can a 64 GB hold?
If you are talking about 4k30 than it should hold slightly over 2 hours.
