These look great in my living room, and come with multiple mounting options to ensure universal compatibility. My only gripe with these would have been to allow for a pass through on the wire so that it was totally hidden. I did a good enough job hiding down the side of the mount and into the wall, but going straight through the back of the mount would have been preferred.

Good, but one catch for modern technologies

All in all, this product does what it says it does. You can have appliances which are always on, or only come on when the switch is flipped. The problem I found is that a lot of my electronic equipment has the bigger "warthog" type plugs, as opposed to you simple two prong laptop/lamp style plugs. Overall a good product.
