The one thing I dislike with the Mavic Pro controller is fumbling around trying to fit and connect my iPhone in the handgrips, when I do I have to remove my case. Also it limits access to the home button.
This seemed to be a great option, plus it gives me the feel, look of my other drone - having the device above the actual controller, I don't have to remove the case and I have full access to the entire phone. The grip of the mount to the phone is rubber and feels pretty good. The clip to the Mavic controller feels ok, some slight movement but not to the point where it feels like it's going to dislodge and fall to the ground. The biggest downfall for me is the screw on of the clip to the iPhone grip. This feels like it just comes loose on every flight swiveling the phone slightly. No matter how much I tighten it, I end up having to tighten it again after one flight
Since the screw is pretty long, there is no fear of it coming detached with the phone grip potion coming apart. It's just a slight annoyance right now. The $24.99 price, I do feel it's a bit pricy for this no so perfect construction. Since a lot of Mavic Pro accessories are dropping in price (this one hasn't - yet) because of the soon to be announced Mavic 2, I WOULD wait to see if this product drops in price as well. BUT if having the phone or small tablet jammed into the hands of the controller does drive you nuts - like it did for me. I would still recommend this overall.

This was to replace an older speaker w/ subwoofer system on my iMac. The $29.99 sale price was pretty attractive but I suppose you get what you pay for. The sound quality was just not up to par for my personal liking. Bass was lacking and it had slight tinny sound quality. I see a lot of positive reviews, maybe I just had a defective system. I did decide to return it.
Few pros - It does have a small disc like controller to adjust volume and bass. It also has a convenient headphone 3.5mm jack, also another AUX jack to plug in an iPhone/iPod if you wish which my older speakers lack. The set up was very easy.
The system may be perfectly fine for those who want a very inexpensive speaker system for your computer, laptop or maybe even your tablet / phone. Like I said, with the subwoofer don't expect that deep bass 'boom,boom" powerful sound.
I would only recommend it for the price and for those who just want basic sound with some bass.

Affordable tablet for beginners - great for drones

I picked up the 8" Tab A for the great sale price at the time during the Holidays, more importantly I did need a simple, not too pricy Android device for my Drone. I admit I am a major Apple user, but after the 11.2 IOS update, all devices with this latest OS simply does not work anymore with the Autel X-Star drone, Starlink app. Apparently there is a "USB communication" problem that both Apple AND Autel need to fix. So rather than wait for both sides to work this issue out - which I feel may be well into 2018, I decided to go with this tablet and I am now able to fly again. I've only put the very basic tools on here in order for me to fly my X Star drone again, the drone app also some screen recording apps. It's not a super fast tablet, looking at the specs it won't handle intense gaming well. I have played around with Google Maps that can be graphically intensive and it runs ok..some slight lag but nothing too painful. YouTube video streaming is also fine. It's not loaded with all the bells and whistles, this would be ideal for internet surfing, video watching, again games that are not intense with graphics.
And unlike Apple products, I admit the expandable memory is extremely nice. There is a slot on the side where you can insert a larger MicroSD card and add another 32, 64, 128GB to the device. Since these type of memory cards have really come down in price, it's not bad idea to pick one of those up.

I tried this out for my Canon DSLR because of the price, you pay for what you get...lesson learned! The battery seemed to be ok for the first 3 photo shoots but then noticed the life dramatically dropped. Even after a full charge and taking only 36 RAW format photos the percentage dropped to a pathetic 9%.
I'll spend the extra money and deal with genuine OEM batteries and skip the third party makers.

These were a complete waste of money, not even close to the $19.99 I spent on them a while back. Plastic is extremely cheap and breaks easily. Colors that come with this, Shiny "Steel", Brushed Metal, Gold and Clear simply look tacky.
I did purchase a much better guard online and it was far better quality. Save your money and stay away!

I purchased the 1st Gen iPad Pro 12.9" and needed an immediate case for my device. The Apple "Smart Cases" may be nice, but the price of these were mind blowing - and you needed to purchase 2 for full device protection. The Modal - at the time - seemed ok. After I put it on the iPad, it felt very cheap, it was designed for "smart device shutoff" when you close the outer flap. I found a much better case online and returned this Modal case back to Best Buy. For $50+ dollars at the time, I expected more.

I've always liked the Zagg protectors for my iPhone, it does have very strong protection for the screens. Easy to apply and my advice, take your time applying it, keep that screen clean and completely dust free - if done right on the first time, you will not have a single annoying air "bubble" on the screen like many of the cheaper screen protectors can cause.
However I did notice on this new version the protector edges of the HD Glass+ may actually be slightly smaller than previous models I have a Zagg protector for my older iPhone 6 Plus - which still has held up since September 2014, this one covers more screen than this newer model made for "6S Plus, 7 Plus" (The box does not say 8 Plus, but since the screen dimensions are identical from the past 2 models this was claimed to fit as well.
It does protect the flat face of the new screen, the edges on this come just short to when the screen begins to curve. May not be that much of a bother for many. But these Zagg's are not cheap - sure I would like that extra 1.2mm on all sides for the price I'm paying.
I do still believe these Zagg's are the best out there, I would recommend it. There is absolutely no loss of screen clarity when applied - again I've seen cheaper protectors that have a slight "haze" to the cover, now your super clear screen looks a little dull.

I always loved the Midnight Blue color case for this phone so I purchased this for my iPhone 8 Plus, since the phone is the same size as the 7 Plus - it does fit. It does look great and the inside soft felt like fabric should protect the new glass back on iPhone 8/8 Plus from possible heavy scratching, smudges and fingerprints.
A slight downside right now is that this is my first Apple Leather case and the very first thing I noticed was how slippery the sides, top are. Very different compared to my old Apple 6 Plus Silicone case which I found had very nice grip to it, there was no fear of having it slip out of your hands.
From what I read on other sites this case, especially the Midnight Blue (Storm Gray model also) yes others found it extremely slippery at first but after a week or two the grip felt much better. I suppose it's basically "breaking it in - the leather will become softer in time." So I will hold on to it and hope it does just that.

This is now my 3rd Western Digital External Hard drive. I have an older 2GB from 2011 and another 4GB from 2015 that still work great. I did have a 2gb from Seagate a few years ago that completely died losing a ton of files I wish I backed up, dumb move on my part, personally I've had nothing but issues with Seagate and refuse to go back. The great thing is the price for these very large external drive have really dropped in the past few years, the price for this model is on sale (as of Aug 28th, 2017) so I had to pick up.
One 4GB drive for most is probably more than enough. You'll be able to store thousands of photos, MP3s, Videos and endless amounts of documents. I do extensive photography and HD / very large file sized 4K video editing so I wanted to have more space when needed.
This does work for Mac computers, the file system comes pre formatted in an "EX-FAT" system, which means this can work with both Windows AND Mac. If you like the Mac OS file system, it can formatted using the Mac Disk Utility, it will only take 30 seconds.
Very simple set up - no more than 60 seconds. Simply plug the drive into an electrical socket. Connect the data cable from your WD drive to the USB input of your computer and you're all set.

Can this speaker are a good match for a tablet
Even though these did not work out for my desktop computer (I found my old 10+ year old speakers sounded better, just appear a little beat up) - I do think they will definitely improve the sound on any tablet!
Keep in mind, the speakers are not quite portable and you won't be able to take the tablet around the home. But it would be fine if you have in on your desk as you have the speakers connected to it. Simple set up, the subwoofer needs to be plugged into an electrical socket, the 2 speakers are attached to the subwoofer. The 3.5mm jack would go into the tablets headphone jack.
Keep in mind, the speakers are not quite portable and you won't be able to take the tablet around the home. But it would be fine if you have in on your desk as you have the speakers connected to it. What is the expected battery's longevity?
In my experience, not long at all! After a few photo shoots and charging the battery to 100%. The life of this battery dropped significantly. After another photoshoot and taking only 30+ RAW photos, the battery drained to a measly 9-10% I'd stay away from this battery.
