I was really excited to get this computer. New i7, 16gb, video card, SSD, and most of all, 4k screen, seemed too good to be true at the 1200. price point. And it turned out, probably was.
Physically, the laptop looked great. Although it was heavy, it still seemed portable due to the slimness factor. But problems began as soon as I turned on the laptop. I had the screen go black on a few occasions (each time a re-boot was required to get the screen back on). The windows update was taking a very long time considering the specs.
After all updates, the biggest issue was how SLOW the laptop was. That, and the annoying "black screen" as well as a track pad that sometimes lagged a few seconds behind my fingers.
Ultimately, I returned this laptop due the above mentioned problems. If Dell is able to fix them, this laptop would go from two stars to four and a half.

I went to best buy to look at the computer and like it. I played a movie clip from youtube and it was not audible with the volume turned 100% Is there a problem with the sound on the computer or is there a fix?

If I purchase this and I have an Android Phone, is there any way to set the Ipad up to recieve my text messages from my phone to the Ipad? If i'm on this at night, I do not want to be switching from one device to another answering my texts. Thanks
