If what you are going to connect this to is literally under the tv and you never plan on moving it (because it will be impossible to) then this cord is perfect ffor you if you want my opinion spend the extra 20 and get the longer cord its worth it

I bought this it was great but then bought another soundbar (lg smart sound bar ) the lg sounds much better better bass and 100 bucks cheaper ... wish I would have known then what I know now
