I haven't used a headset in about 4 years & always bought the regular Logitech USB type for $40 or so if I wanted a mic. This headset lives up to the 7.1 audio, with rich sound & deep bass. The Corsair Link software is easily downloaded & installed for Windows 10 x64, in my case. With that software, the LED color & pattern is adjustable to virtually endless color possibilities if you can see your headset while playing. I always have a mirror handy to see those lights! (joke). Seriously, the software is required for the headset to sound correctly. It can be PnP, but the sound will be hollow. Comfort, not bad but even these wired versions get heavy after an hour or so. If you do not care about the wire, buy these. There's no sound quality difference & the batteries add considerable weight to an already heavy headset. The arms that hold the speakers are made of cast aluminum, the headband, well padded but also metal inside & the large magnets used make these the heaviest I ever used. They do sound great & the surround lacks nothing. The bass is really "there" for a headset, I am shocked. I could've spent 2 times more & would have been disappointed. I returned the Logitech "version" of these that cost the same, had no LED lights, & terrible sound depth. Out of everything on the market with "surround", these are definitely the best value & sounding headset you can buy. Leave the wireless ones alone unless you don't mind the weight. Others say to leave "Dolby" off, it works fine. Putting the headset in stereo is fine for some music but the point of buying these is the 7.1 VR surround they deliver. The software has a fully adjustable EQ with presets & ways to set a custom profile per app or globally. The mic works fine for gaming, Skype, & auto-mutes when up.

When compared to other products offered by Antec,OZC Freeze, etc. this does the job nearly as well. I bought this in a pinch & for the price you get a lot, it's made of the grey high performance type compound, not a grease. Spreads nicely, no pressure needed. Slightly on the thin side & thermals while low change rapidly meaning the compound isn't transferring heat quickly enough. However, never overheated & my rig is pretty extreme.

I use these drives in a lot of my new PC builds. Never had an issue within the warranty period with Seagate recently. A few years back, they weren't as good. Now Seagate makes one of the most reliable drives on the market. Pricing isn't bad either in comparison to online retailers. With Best Buy continuing this trend toward competing with online pricing, I am more compelled to buy locally to avoid shipping time.

I use these in a pinch or on systems I build that don't require a heavy amp load. It will run most video cards that require a 400w minimum but if the card needs more than 14amps on the 12v+ rail, consider another option. These are for average use PC's not extreme gamers or graphic intensive apps for long periods. You could experience "blue screens" or crashes.

what does "marked polarity" mean 50ft. 18 gauge
It means that one wire is marked, typically with a stripe, to denote negative or positive. Most applications use the striped side as the negative, like speakers. By now you probably figured this out. Question asked 1 year & 1 month ago.

What is the best gauge speaker wire to use with Bose 301 speakers??
All speakers work best with the largest gauge wire possible, 18 being the "standard". See my review on this product. While it will work fine for any speaker that you can attach manually, it is over priced in my opinion & in fact by searching it out. So be it Bose or any other brand, if it takes separate wire, use 18 gauge braided speaker wire of any brand & you'll be fine.

Is this marked with "AF" for "Advanced Format"?
This would be on a physical label on the drive itself with the other "logos" and perhaps on the box.
Not sure, but it doesn't matter. This drive is for any SATA desktop that holds a 3.5" internal hard drive. It can be formatted into any format, DOS, Linux, Unix, Windows, etc. Not MAC, they use a "special" drive format & drive.

Yes it will fit. Keep in mind, it's a bare drive with no operating system. I would clone the old drive to the new using the supplied software or download from Seagate for free. If you are changing this drive because of speed issues, forget that. These PC's were slow from day one. Upgrade the CPU, memory, & put a video card in for better performance.

Will this work well in my HP Pavllion 500-281?
Yes, just if you have an aftermarket video card or upgraded the cpu or ram, you may want more juice.

Can I buy the mounting hardware only for this AC somewhere?
I was given this AC unit however the screws, lock frames, and seals were not given to me. Is there someone I can purchase it separately?
