It obviously detects what it says it does. A lot of the time it feels like it is reflecting back at itself and giving itself false positives. Also at random times I've had the VG2 go off and never be able to find a trooper.

For a budget phone this device outperforms many other iTunes I had tried. I actually own an S7 and this phone is definitely my go to as a backup. It also allows customization of the is if you're into that, unlike Samsung and a few others. Recently got ab update to marshmallow is your looking for something that isn't terribly outdated.

I want to buy this phone, sign up for Consumer Cellular as my service provider and transfer my current number. I currently have Verizon. I know I can't use a SIM because of the difference between cdma vs gsm. Can I do this?
Consumer Cellular is an mvno of at&t and T-Mobile, these companies operate with sim cards. Yes, you can do what you suggested.
