Having been holding onto my Ipod Touch 4th generation for dear life, since I got it not long before the 5th generation came out, I did not wait long to purchase this. While my 4th generation is still in great condition, except for battery life, some of my apps were not really functioning the greatest anymore.
I definitely wanted to get my new Ipod Touch 6 from here, because the protection plan I find to be superior to Apple Care, which limits you to 2 incidents, and I think it is only within the first year. My 4th generation device didn't actually start having issues for over 2 years, and I would have been out of luck with Apple Care.
I know some people are unhappy that the size specs etc are identical to the 5th generation, but I was very happy, because that meant I could order a new case and a new screen protector the day the new one was announced, even before the Ipod Touch got here, so they would be here waiting for it... to help keep it in pristine condition, in case a 7th generation one is either a long time coming or doesn't at all... heaven forbid! I don't need a cell phone plan, and buying an unlocked iphone just costs way too much. I began checking THAT about a year ago, when things were looking bleak for an Ipod Touch update. Given my situation, a bigger device, like the Ipad mini is too big for me to be able to carry. Since my case has a belt clip, I can baby that by fastening it clamped shut around my lanyard. The belt clips tend to snap on me if I put them on actual clothing, so I found another way.
IOS 8.4 has some very handy changes from IOS 6.1, and the device runs very smoothly. I am already looking forward to a few new things coming from IOS 9.
My son is happy too, because even though his is also 4th generation, it has had a rough life (though his battery is better than mine), and my old 4th generation will help tide him over until he is working and can get one of his own!
Believe it, if you have still been hanging on to a 4th generation Ipod Touch or even older, I think now is the time to make the jump!

Back up your favorite media on DVD, CD and Blu-ray Discs using this Buffalo Technology MediaStation BRXL-PC6U2B external USB 2.0 optical drive. The drive can be powered directly from a USB port, and the built-in USB cables snap in place for neat storage.

While this device can play BluRay discs, I was never able to completely install ALL the software that came with it. The bundled software version was too old to be supported by the company that created it, which is a shame, because the dvd software on my computer is even older but by the same company, so I thought the installation would be a piece of cake. I uninstalled my DVD version of the software first, as a precaution, trying to reduce the risk of conflict, but since it was bundled as part of my computer, I would have to completely restore my computer to get that part working again. Mercifully, I had never used that particular software, and my dvd drive can still make CDs, so it isn't a total disaster. My original plan was to use it to create hard copy backups of data on fewer discs than would be required for cds, but since only part of the software package installed, I have been afraid to actually try doing that part.

I bought these for a friend for his vehicle shortly after he bought it. The sound was good, and he used them constantly. It took about a year for them to blow, but I got protection on them, so it was an easy replacement. He was skeptical because returns usually did not work out for him the way he hoped, but this did! He is now sold on the value of getting Geek Squad protection on things, where possible, since he has the worst luck!

I bought this for a friend for Christmas. He did not want me to spend the extra to have it installed, but I sure wish he had let me! He had installed that sort of thing before on the same vehicle though, so I let his wish stand. I did get to experience the sound firsthand, and it was amazing! I am thinking the vehicle was just too old to handle what was happening, because it blew in less than two weeks. We got it replaced, because he DID let me put the Geek Squad protection on it. He tried again, and it did it again. We gave up, and since it was under the extended return policy of the holidays, I was able to get everything refunded completely, even the protection plan. I was very pleased about that, at least!

I bought this to back up files and play them through my Roku. I am thrilled with the storage space, though I did not figure out until after I bought it that the Roku would not be able to read it directly from its USB port because of its capacity (larger than 1Tb.U tried to partition it into sections of just under 1 Tb each, like an internet workaround suggested, but that didn't work, sadly. I wound up attaching it to my desktop and streaming it to the Roku instead, which still works, but my original plot was to be able to watch my growing collection without having to leave my computer on as well. That is ok, though, because the storage space is worth it.

If i want to bring ipod touch to apple store when it has a problem, I will use apple warranty ?
If you buy the additional protection from Best Buy, you use that if it is simpler for you. Otherwise, since Best Buy is an Authorized seller, it would not void the Apple warranty.

If Windows doesn't recognize that you have attached the device either, try a new cord.
