Episode 7 makes for a wonderful return to the franchise. After the disappointment of episodes 1-3, episode 7 reboots the franchise 30 years after the events of Endor. A new jedi must be trained, and a new descendant of Skywalker threatens to follow down the footsteps of Darth Vader. Although the plot rehashes too much of what made Episodes 4 and 6 good, it is welcome to see Han, Chewy, and Leia return to the big screen.
Based on a series of science fiction novels, The Expanse is set a few hundred years in the future when humanity has colonized a large chunk of the solar system. Follow Joe Miller (Thomas Jane), a police detective born and raised in the asteroid belt, as he investigates the mysterious disappearance of corporate heiress Julie Andromeda Mao and the implications that has for the tenuous peace between Earth, now controlled by the United Nations, and a militaristic colony of humans who have settled on Mars. Also trying to uncover the mystery of Julie's disappearance are Jim Holden (Steven Strait) and the crew of an ice hauling ship which finds itself caught up in the political intrigue involving Earth, Mars and the Belt. This 3-disc set collects all 10 episodes from the first season of the Syfy series.
The Expanse is a hidden gem among television. The first season previewed last year on the Sci-Fi channel and the second season is about to start. The show represents a more realistic imagination of space travel approximately 300 years from now. You'll find solid acting, drama, and intrigue as the crew races to unravel the reasons behind the mysterious explosion of their ship. I highly recommend it to any science fiction fans.
Score big with this Razer Abyssus V2 gaming mouse. A 5000-dpi optical sensor provides impressive precision, and this ambidextrous mouse works with either hand, making it ideal for a multi-person household. Molded rubber side grips help you keep a good hold on this Razer Abyssus V2 gaming mouse while you complete complex on-screen moves.
I started buying Razer products about three years back. I've been quite pleased with the overall quality and performance. I went with this version to save on costs a bit, and think it represents the low end of the line well. For the most part, you just need a mouse to be a mouse, and this one gets the job done.
This release features all ten episodes from the sixth season of the smash hit HBO fantasy drama Game of Thrones. After the events of season five, new questions arise about the death of Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) as Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) continues his training with Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow), and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) continues her quest to rule the Seven Kingdoms. Included in this set are bonus content and behind the scenes footage.
One of the best shows on Television comes to Blu-ray. This is a well-produced show that is worth watching several times thanks to the high quality production.
I highly recommend Star Trek Beyond. This is really the best of the three most recent Star Trek movies, returning to the roots of what has historically made Star Trek special.
