I have had many types of speakers. Right now I have BOSE front and rears. My center channel & sub woofer are POLK. The difference between POLK and most other upscale brands is price. They deliver great sound. POLK as a company (unlike BOSE and some others) doesn't deal in hype. So there products are very good at a fraction of the price,in many cases. I have never had an issue with ANY POLK product that I have owned. My first set of surround speakers(that were POLK) lasted 19 years. When I sold them, they still sounded great!!!

I watched the regular Blu Ray, then watched the 4K Blu Ray of THE MARTIAN. I could see the difference. The selection of 4K movies is very small at this point (5-6-16). But the titles that are remastered in 4K will undoubtedly grow.The picture quality is GREAT. This player upgrades many of my 1080 Blu Rays to near 4K as well.

How to hang from the ceiling
OK, so I bought the 161's, and they sound great. Just one problem - when you put the bracket on the ceiling, the speakers point straight down. They don't pivot very much, but if I try to point them towards the front of the room, the little plastic teeth that are supposed to hold them in position don't work, No matter how tight I put in the screw, they strip and the speakers go back to hanging straight down. Tightening the screw seems to separate the teeth instead of keeping them interlocked. The speaker seems too heavy for the small teeth in the bracket. What am I missing? Is there some trick to this?
I don't think they are designed to put on the celing.
