I have an iPad 4th generation and was looking for a smaller tablet that was easy and light enough to hold in the hand. As I wasn't interested in paying the premium price for an iPad mini, I looked at Android tablets on Best Buy's website and decided that this Samsung tablet seemed to be what I wanted and wouldn't break the bank. I was initially concerned about the screen resolution, but because the tablet is only 7 inches, I quickly discovered after looking at the demo model in store that the screen was surprisingly quite nice. I actually like it better than my iPad. While it's only a TFT screen, it's bright and text is quite sharp. Color saturation is surprising nice as well.
I have been so impressed with the build quality and the textured back as well. Internal memory is only 8gb, but that's easily remedied by a 128gb Microsd card and it can even support cards up to 200gb.
For a budget tablet, Samsung scored a winner with this one. I would definitely recommend it.

This is one of the better flip phones that I've used. What I like the most is that the phone is fairly large. I hate tiny, thin flip phones. The keys are well-spaced, so there are no inadvertent key presses. Volume is fair and not overly loud, but still loud enough to be heard. My only gripe is the short battery life. For emergency use only, you might get two days before you need to recharge it. For average daily use, you may not even make it through the day. If this will be your daily phone, always bring your charger with you as you will need it.

As far as Otterbox cases go, this is quite slim compared to most of their other ones. I wish it were a bit slimmer, but having dropped my phone twice since I put this case on, I can say that it protects the phone quite well. No screen damage, the case stays on the phone and my phone has nary a scratch. I feel fairly confident that my phone will never be damaged from a drop.

If you only need to make phone calls and send an occasional text, this phone is fairly decent for that. Texting is too cumbersome for heavy usage, but fine for occasional use. Surprisingly, the VGA camera on this phone isn't that bad. You won't get top notch photos, but if you just need to snap a halfway decent pic, it works fine. Overall, not a bad phone if you don't need anything fancy.

Yes, you can use the $10..00 refill card with this phone. T-Mobile will deduct $3.00 monthly for service, whether you use it or not. Any refill card gives you 10c minutes and texts. As for the ring volume, it's loud enough for me. I can easily hear it using the default ringtone. If the default ringtone isn't loud enough, just switch to another. It comes with quite a few ringtones already preloaded on the phone.

Does the SIM included with this phone have any credit to start with?
I think some T-Mobile prepaid SIMs come with 30 minutes (or 30 texts) as a credit upon activation. Is this true for this offer with the Kyocera phone?
No, it does not come with any credit. You get the phone and SIM card only.
