Having bill from the descendents produce this was a great idea it's a solid album aside from a few cliches otherwise glad I checked it out and the bonus tracks are good!
I haven't listened to motionless since their early stuff which had a lot of potential this is more electronic than anything and I think they need to go back to rock.
I haven't caught up with good charlotte since their radio single back in the day but I know John Feldman produced them so I bought this on a whim and was really happy, these songs will get stuck in your head from one listen and the bonus tracks are necessary.
Stepping away from their older records crown the empire create a new sound that enfuses electronic with their old metalcore roots, honestly it's the best thing they've made and I'd really like to see it live.
Right from the first track you know this album is going to be good by snoop proclaiming that he is a legend and it's undeniable. He also calls out modern rappers for all sounding the same, you can't go wrong with anything snoop does and this is just another great record by him.
The mix on the album is a little off though, the bonus tracks are worth it though as one is essential to the whole theme which could've been a little more madness given the theme.
From an interview I read Danny McBride origibally wanted james franco to be a minor character but the studios said no, maybe it derailed their original plans the world may never know, just like most of his work though if you're not in the right mood it might not work out.
