This was a fun nonsense zombie film. The viral outbreak also effect animals such as deer and kittens. The scene of them getting ready to do battle against the zombies happened way too late into the film. Could have used more Scorpions.
The third season of HBO's Game of Thrones (based on the novels of George R.R. Martin) continues to follow the War of the Five Kings on its deadly path as Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) licks his wounds after a humiliating defeat and Robb Stark (Richard Madden) pushes for a risky offensive against the Lannisters. Meanwhile, Joffrey plans to marry Margaery (Natalie Dormer), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) works to liberate a city whose economy is built on slavery, and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) finds his undercover mission complicated when he falls in love with a woman from the tribe living beyond the wall.
I had heard promising reviews but, was fairly disappointed. I am always hoping for the return of quality horror movies as were made in the 70s like The Omen, Rosemary's Baby, and The Exorcist. This movie definitely had an eerie atmosphere and excellent cinematography.
This release serves up every episode from the fourth season of HBO's Game of Thrones, the fantasy series about various clans vying for control of a kingdom that is based on the thick novels of writer George RR Martin.
What a fantastic season of Game of Thrones this was! So much happened. Every season has one really big episode that everything builds up to, but this one had several.
No expense spared The Woburn is designed with loud in mind and you'll quickly hear by its performance that it holds true to the Marshall name. This loudspeaker hits high trebles cleanly, handles low bass with ease and has a clear, lifelike mid range. The analogue treble, bass and volume knobs give you custom control of your sound. With unique sound design and quality components, it's made to deliver accurate response throughout the frequency range. The Woburn is literally built to thrill.
The Woburn sound's excellent at all volumes which is what I've been wanting. I can get a full range of sound at low volume (yes plenty of bass) as well as I can at higher volumes.
The struggle for power in the kingdom known as Westeros begins in the first season of Game of Thrones, a dense fantasy drama based on the A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels from George R.R. Martin. Adapted for television by creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, all ten episodes from the first season are included in this collection. As Ned Stark (Sean Bean) looks to protect his family after receiving a flattering offer from the Lannisters, Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Cersei (Lena Headey), heirs to the Lannister kingdom, look to protect a dark secret that threatens to endanger their family's standing. Meanwhile, the contemptuous Viserys Targaryen (Harry Lloyd) looks to clear his path to the throne by marrying his younger sister Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) to the Dothraki king, Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa). The series also stars Kit Harrington as Jon Snow, the bastard son of Ned, and Peter Dinklage in an Emmy-winning performance as the mercurial, enigmatic Tyrion Lannister.
The Blu-Ray is excellent and takes advantage of the format more than any disc I currently own. The picture is flawless with bright colors and a life-like image. You will notice details you didn't during the original broadcast airing. For example, the scenes in the crypt were sort of dark and hard to make out during the original airing have been lightened up a bit. You can see more details of the statues of the Stark ancestry.
The complete second season of the fantasy drama based on the George R.R. Martin series of novels, A Song of Ice and Fire, is available in this collection. All 10 episodes from this dense, wide-spanning season are included, as the Starks, Lannisters and Dothraki warriors continue their battle for supremacy. Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) is forced to stop into action as he is directly attacked, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) leads the fight against the mighty White Walkers, and the young tyrant King Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) leads an attack on the Stark family, causing his wife, Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), to retaliate.
Season 2 picks up after the shocking events of season 1, which I won't mention in case you haven't seen it. And if that's the case, what are you doing? Go watch it right now!
