Right for the price, but if you want to use it for college/school work, I would recommend something better.
It will be a good for someone just learning to use computers, e.g. check email, make MS word, excel documents etc. If you plan to play games, forget about this computer.
I would not recommend it to a friend, but would recommend to my kids in middle school learning and working with MS office suite.

Second Macbook, and happy so far

I've just had it for over a month, so there is not a whole lot I can say regarding its durability. However, I am happy with my Macbook so far. I personally like the wifi connectivity of the Macbook. My office is at the farthest end of the hall, where the wifi signal is weak, and my previous lenovo could not connect to wifi. I have had no such problem with the Macbook. Besides, I prefer the Mac OS to windows as it is more compatible with the linux OS I use in my office. Overall look is better than the windows machines in the same price range. My main priority in a computer is durability, so I'll have to wait two more years to give a better analysis. In terms of speed, I can run programs on this machine from home that I had to run through vpn when I had my lenovo, so I consider it an upgrade.
