MS Office 365 for one computer plus one device for one year is a good value. I paid $69 for one year that gives you all updates automatically plus 20 GB of OneDrive storage for a year. Having the full Office Suite and 20 GB of OneDrive storage for $69 is a great value to me. I'm using OneDrive between my desktop Windows 8 computer, my Asus T100 "tablet" and my WP8 Nokia Lumia 920 phone. The phone, of course, has MS Office on it to begin with (phone version) so I put Office on my desktop and T100 tablet. It all works great, and I feel I'm getting my $69 worth for a year. Of course you can go $99 for the same thing each year only for up to 5 devices.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the USB 3 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter to have in case I needed a hard internet connection...Wi-Fi is not always available. It's compact so taking it with you is simple and requires no space that you would notice. I've used it once and it worked very well. I keep it in my travel case for my Asus T100.

I have the 64 GB T100 and it is so useful for personal, business or student use. It's very portable and having the option of using it just as a tablet or connecting it to the "dock" so that it acts just like a laptop is great. It handles regular office chores with aplomb as well as reading, video viewing etc. In terms of normal use I've not had it bog down or "misfire" in any way. I've heard of guys running VM's on it and doing other pretty intensive stuff. I can't verify that sort of use, but the way mine runs I'd be inclined to believe it. If you want a relatively inexpensive device that can handle anything the majority of people would use it for, the T100 is definitely worth looking at!

What's great about it: FAST processor, USB 3, very portable, full Windows 8.1, great battery life!
What's not so great: Sound is OK but I would like more volume available. An LTE option would be nice.

what is this good for? Is it just a noise maker to let you know someone is in your room?
It can do this plus much more. It's interactive so your child can talk to Spidey and participate in adventures as Spidey narrates them. Through a smart phone app your child can select many things to do with Spidey. There is a lot of content that can engage your child's imagination in Spider-Man adventures and just in "normal" conversation with Spidey.

As is today, you can do light editing using a couple of web based programs. Within the next month or two, you will be able to do a lot more because the Acer R11 will run all Android apps natively in Chrome OS on your Chromebook.

On the Acer website it says this model supports AC WIFI, on this page it just says B. Does this model on the best buy website support AC WIFI?
I have the Acer R11 from Best Buy described above, and the information label on the box says plainly "802.11ac + BT" Hope this helps.

So are you saying you cannot use android apps for this chromebook? Where do you get apps then?
True, Android apps do not currently run on the Acer R11. Presently you can run web based programs through your browser and the limited Chrome browser extensions and Chrome OS apps as shown in the Chrome OS Store. However, within 2 months you will be able to download the Google Play Store with access to all Android apps. The Acer R11 is the second Chromebook receiving this ability through the Chrome OS. Once that's done, you will have all the functionality Google has to offer.

I would direct this question to Acer, but I'm under the impression that it is not expandable in any ordinary sense. If it is expandable, no one including Best Buy and Acer have bothered to use it as a selling point, which I would expect them to do. You do have the ability to use SD cards and/or USB external drives to store music, photos, files etc. with your R11.
