Television was for my daughter who was on a budget. Went with the Sony based on a recommendation from Best Buy staff.
I recently purchased an LG 55" OLED for myself and really didn't expect too much from the Sony. Fresh out of the box, it had a great picture. So good in fact, I haven't even thought it necessary to tweak things. Highly recommended.

LG 55" OLED

For a few years now, my 54" Panasonic Plasma has been the best TV I've seen. I still have it and it still gets a beautiful picture.
I recently decided to replace a different TV in another room and after much investigation, I settled on an LG 55" OLED. Like most new TV's, out of the box it was pretty good but after accessing the menu and making a few adjustments, it's now the best I've seen.
Two friends recently purchased Samsung's 55" KS8000 series which I too had seriously considered. After watching both of their TV's and being totally unimpressed, I decided on the LG OLED. Glad I did, no contest!

Does the LGOLED tv remote work with the SONOS playbar? Do you have to get a different remote to use the SONOS playbar?
Forget the Sonos and get the Yamaha YAS-106. Much better sonically and less expensive. I have WOW cable service and use their
remote for both the cable box and my LG 55" OLED. The Yamaha has a small remote which only controls the sound bar which is fine
with me. I hate wireless components and prefer most things being "hard-wired". Just my two cents.
