Garmin's have come a long ways!

Instead of updating the Maps on my old Garmin, we bought this new one instead. Boy have they come a long ways. We like the voice command feature, though it understands a male voice better than a female voice. It was easy to find places like Dunkin Donuts by just saying the name and it would come up with several numbered locations which you just chose one.

I have a nuvi 200w series I've for long time and never updated it. Is it worth doing and is it worth the expence.
We bought a new one on sale instead of updating as the electronics are more advanced, more features and no more annoying, Recalculating announcement, it just finds you another route. We also noticed that it didn't lose the satelites as often.

If I enter an address or destination will it show me multiple routes to get there then allow me to pick one? Some devices only give one route.
You can set your Garmin up to show you the fastest route, the shortest route mileage wise or a toll free route.
