Upgraded from my original Surface Pro. Everything you would expect from a Surface...basically a "laptop" tablet that you can do real work on. Works perfectly, only con is that the battery life is not too great, but probably due to the settings that I am using. If you use battery saving settings (I don't) you should probably be just fine.
Plenty of processing power, RAM, and storage. A little pricey, but has everything that you need in a light, portable package.

Was looking to replace my Netgear "N" router that was several years old with a new "AC" router to get better range and wireless speeds throughout our new house. Also picked up a couple of Netgear AC adapters for two of our wireless PC's.
In a word...WOW! I should have upgraded a long time ago. Wireless speeds immediately tripled and the signal strength extends halfway down the street. Everything connected right away and the throughput is outstanding. Highly recommend this router.
Only downside (but not a serious problem) is that it is BIG. I usually have the router on my desk in the room where the cable service enters the house, but this router has no vertical stand option and it's so big I had to mount it on the wall.

Hooked it up to the receiver of our whole-house sound system, joined it to our Wi-Fi network, and we were good to go. Everything is done via a phone/tablet, so the whole process is wireless, except for the physical audio connection to the receiver. It's an expensive product, but well worth it!
Only Downside: If you want to connect it to a different Wi-Fi network after you initially set it up, you have to physically hook it up to the new network's router via Ethernet. There should really be an option to "forget/delete" the existing network within the app and then be able to choose a different Wi-Fi network.

Bought this TV for my daughter's bedroom to replace an old 32" JVC that gave us many years of great use. We already had a Samsung model UN40H5050 in another bedroom that we have had for a few years and have really liked it. This UN40H5203 has the same great picture quality and ease of use, plus adds all of the Smart TV features to the mix.
Setting it up and connecting it to the network was a breeze, and after a few picture adjustments it looks terrific. Great value for the money.

In general, rapid blinking on any drives indicates activity. A steady light is usually just indicating power and/or idle. Some drives will have a slow blink to indicate inactivity and/or sleep mode.

I'd like to hook this up to an FM transmitter (because my property is too big for WiFi or the Sonos network to reach my garage) and also to a receiver/speaker system in my house. This requires two outputs. Can the Connect provide output to both digital and analog connections (using the same stream) simultaneously? Thanks!
No. You can have two inputs to the Connect, but it can only "broadcast" one or the other.

I have a complete home stereo system. I'm only looking to add wireless satellite speakers
I have an amp that is the center of my complete home AV system. The sources broadcast from the amp are AM/FM, TV, CD, Spotify and Pandora, The Denon amp has WiFi and LAN connections and receives Bluetooth.
I have wired main speakers in the living room. I'm only looking to add one wireless satellite speaker each in to two rooms.

Sonos. Without a doubt, the best wireless audio equipment that is out there. Pricey, but well worth it and you won't regret it.
You shouldn't need the Sonos Connect if your receiver has wireless "broadcasting" capability. The wireless Sonos speakers can connect to whatever wireless broadcast source you specify.
If not, then you can hook up a Sonos Connect to your receiver and use it as an input source (though I don't think that will be necessary).

Will this work with Time Warner Cable Internet Service?
Yes. I have used both residential and business class internet service from Time Warner with this router with no issues.

Is it compatible with Motorola SurfBoard SB6141 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem?
Yes. I have it connected to a Motorola SB6183 and it should will with any of the Surfboard modems.

Will this router work with Centurylink?
Centurylink using old phone line for internet, do I have to use their modem/router or does Netgear have something that will work?
The router will work with any ISP provider. The issue wouldn't be the router, but your modem (note: this is a router only and does not have a built-in modem). So the question would be whether the modem you have will work with a given provider (if you have your own modem). Otherwise the provider will usually supply the modem.

The sonos connect is what I would start with to able to hear my XM radio throughout my house?
The Connect would send the audio to the my Uverse router? The Uverse router would wirelessly connect to Sonos speakers I would place throughout the house?
Not exactly. The Sonos Connect and the speakers would all use your Wi-Fi network to "talk" to each other. The Connect would then send the audio signals directly to the speakers via the Wi-Fi network.

IF YOU HAVE YOUR SYSTEM CONNECTED TO CONNECT IN 1 ROOM HOW CAN YOU UTILIZE IT IN OTHER AREAS ?
If you have more than one Sonos (i.e. you have one in each room) you just use the Sonos app to "group" rooms together and they will all play the same thing at the same time.
