Fantastic phone for the price

The good:
- Feels really well built. Solid, quality materials.
- Super fast. Good connectivity all around.
- The batter lasts forever. Two days without charging for me.
- You get 90% of the top of a line phone for around $250. It's a steal
- Refurb works like new. No issues or scratches
- It's different. It seems everyone uses an iPhone or a Galaxy. I like the personality of the Xperia.

The not so good:
- I would have preferred more memory but so far I have not needed it so far
- The camera is sub-par. Which is surprising, given how good Sony cameras are. Still, it is good enough for 95% of people.

Highly Recommended for Cord Cutters!

I canceled cable TV some time ago, mainly because I hated the extra charges for HD, extra TVs, cable boxes, etc.
I have tried Sling, Hulu, DirecTV Now, Prime, etc. They are good, but none offers a good option to watch local channels. I got an HD antenna with an amplifier and Tablo. It works great.
Set up was really simple: plug the antena into Tablo and Tablo to your Internet router. A simple app scans channels and lets you select which ones you want. Then add the Tablo app to Roku and you are done.
I have been watching the World Cup, local channels, and late night: Steven Colbert and Seth Meyers. The quality is as good or better than UVerse and any Internet-based TV service. the DVR works great.
I have zero monthly fees. Nada. In fact, I save money because I can watch TV in full HD without using any of my Internet bandwidth, so you can go for a lower-cost package.
I still have Sling TV and Netflix, but neither of those is to watch TV.
Tablo is not perfect. This is what I did not like:
- During one game I had a black screen for a second. Don't know why and has not happened again.
- In the current software you cannot set a recording from Roku, I have to do it from my PC or a browser.
- It takes about 10 seconds to start watching any channel. So it is not a good option for channel surfing.
- HD antennas have a limited number of channels available. Search online for what is your coverage.
- During one game I had a black screen for a second. Don't know why and has not happened again.

I live close to the Mansfield dam, in a lower part of the city. We struggle with cell phone coverage. I have no problem with any of the HD aerial channels. I do recommend getting an antenna with an amplifier.

Great AV receiver for the price

I have an excellent Yamaha receiver that has worked well for years. In our new media room we installed home theater seating, an Epson PowerLite 1080 projector and a pair of B&W tower speakers.
My receiver was not AV/HDMI ready so I had to wiggle the connections manually, which was especially difficult with HDMI inputs where I had to split the audio to go to the receiver while the video was sent to the projector.
So i got this Sony receiver, which was a snap to set up. It comes with a microphone that analyzes the acoustics of the room to configure it. In 10 minutes we were watching a movie.
For the price, the sound is pretty amazing. It is really hard to justify spending more money on a receiver unless you have some very special needs. This receiver has enough HDMI inputs and outputs for me, subwoofer out, power is more than sufficient for 99% of people, and it looks well built.
We have had it for about 6 weeks now and I am very happy with my purchase

The wall mount is well built ans is easy to install. Comes with a template and accommodates different TV brands by providing multiple bolts and a flexible layout. It feels sturdy and well built.
The only caveat is that this mount will hang your TV very close to the wall, just make sure the back has enough room for the cables to be plugged so close to it. I had to wiggle a couple things to make it work with my Toshiba 32" HDTV, but at the end I am very happy with the results
