I love that I could purchase a black washer and dryer. Works great. don't over stuff it. Lint catcher insert must be cleaned before starting a new wash (husband couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start). Purchase a extra hose for this dryer to connect to the cold water ( my water spout is at the top of dryer lever and a about 12" hose comes with it)

its temperamental and it must have clothes balanced in the wash for it to work or it yells at you and stops. You cant over stuff or that also won't get it to start. The booklet says up to 6 lbs. Whatever that is. It also takes a long time to wash. I had the old school washer and washed clothes in about 25 mins. The washer for "normal" takes about and hour. Other than that its good.

Does the dryer require a water hookup extra for the steam?
yes. comes with a 12 inch hose. I had to purchase a longer one since the connection on the dryer is on the lower level and my water connection is about top dryer level.

Does the dryer come with a rack for drying shoes? My old Maytag had one which worked great instead of the tennis shoes thumping all around.
