A Low Cost, but Slow USB 3.0 hub.

This hub does not perform at usb 3.0 speeds. It is much faster than usb 2.0; but nowhere near the 5gb/sec USB 3.0 specification. The fastest I've seen from it is about 900 Mb/sec which is about double USB 2.0.

CR2032 is used in Ford vehicle remotes. We needed to replace the batteries in both keys for one car so, needed 2 batteries. Best Buy sold these in-store in 6 packs for prices lower than this 2 pack. Unlike most of the 'button' batteries, these seemed to have very short shelf life (I had 3 year old CR2025 that were good into 2020). For whatever reason, BB had these for two different prices in two different packages, one vertical; the other horizontal. They had the same part number, save an "A" at the end. The vertical pack was cheaper, so we went with that.

Inexpensive Expansion Drive

I needed a larger drive for TimeMachine and caught this one on sale for $80.00. I like that it is powered by USB so that is one less power adapter. It doesn't need to be fast to act as a backup drive and it is very quiet. The only fault I'll give it is that when powered downed, it remains in standby mode when attached to my usb hub, so I have to power the hub down fully if I don't want the pulsing light. Most drives are smarter than this one regarding that. So far, no problems and 4 tb is about the maximum I'm willing to go with mechanical hard drives since they tend to switch to shingle-type drives at sizes larger than this. I've had seagate and western digital and every other brand in between and none of them are better or worse than the others, so I shop by price and simply plan to replace every 2-3 years.

Decent Quality and Sale Price

I was looking for a small (by today's standards) flash drive. This PNY unit was on sale and was USB 3.0. The comparable SanDisk at the same price point is still only USB 2.0. I have several PNY drives in this shell of different sizes, and it seems to be a good performer and dissipates heat well. I wish the printing on the unit was larger to make the SIZE more easily seen at a glance. When you have 16gb, 64gb and 128gb thumb drives in the exact same case, it makes it annoying when the size is printed so much smaller than the PNY logo. At least the printing is a high contrast color (white) unlike San Disk who prints grey text on black.
I've docked one star because I would never purchase this if it wasn't on sale. Since they seem to be on sale every-other week, then I really believe they should just lower the price and be done with the 'false sale' pricing.

Good Rotating Case for New 2017 iPad 9.7"

This case was purchased for a new 2017 model iPad 9.7". This new model is basically an iPad Air-2 in the chassis of an iPad Air so dimensionally, an iPad Air case will fit better- except for those full Otterbox-type cases which have problems due to buttons lining up properly.
This case is a bit bulky, but that is to accommodate the rotational ring built into the frame which allows the iPad to rotate 360 degrees. This allows the user to use the case as a stand in both portrait and landscape modes. The cover includes the magnets required to operate the auto on/off function and an elastic band can be used to secure the cover open or closed. The edges of the case are not finished well and may be sharp to some fingers.
Overall, a good case for the price.

I bought this to replace a warn Belkin case for an iPad Air. The cover includes the magnets for auto on/off function and there is a small rubberized plastic loop that fits over a nib to keep the cover closed, or when folded back, open. The iPad does not rotate within the case, so the case cover can act as a stand only in landscape mode. All of the buttons, lenses, microphones, speakers, connectors and sensors are accessible. This case fits the iPad Air, the Air-2 and the 2017 iPad 9.7". It may fit others, but those are the three models I have on hand. The Air-2 is not as snug a fit since it is thinner; but I don't it would fall out.

Okay, But Inconsistent Performance

I purchased these USB drives for use with an in-car stereo system that preferred drives of 8gb or less in size. They came formatted in FAT16 and reformatted them to FAT32.
They are not fast, even compared to some older 2gb flash drives I have. They do not consistently mount on Android or Mac OS, I do not have Windows to test there. The design, which features a sliding collar that is spring loaded is unique; but I foresee the spring breaking with heavy use.
Overall, they are okay for my application (music in my car) but I would not rely on these for anything I really cared about.

Decent Cable for a Lower Price

I needed an extra cable and didn't want to pay apple's premium, so caught this Insignia cable on sale. The cable isn't as flexible as the apple cable, and the housing around the lightning connector is larger than I'd like. It doesn't fit some of my devices in cases- but since this is mostly for my phone, that one works.
It is a lower quality cable overall, but if you use is in a 'plug in and forget' manner, it will probably last well.

Strong Magnet, Holds Well, High Price

I was looking for a car mount that didn't take up a lot of space. I had looked at several of the different magnetic units that clipped to a/c vents and chose this unit because it was available, on sale, and I had a rewards certificate that was going to expire. The price is high- overly so for what it is. The magnet for you phone will not fit inside a case that has friction strips so my magnet is on the outside of my incase iPhone 5s case meaning there is a black blob on my royal blue phone.
it does the job, my phone hasn't fallen while driving and it stays put. That's about all you can expect for a small round "pad".

Solid Performance at a Reasonable Sale Price

This drive is used to create a cold backup of two mac mini's with SSDs. I wanted usb-3 and decent performance and since the two machines have 500gb drives, a 1tb drive was all I needed. I ended up selecting the WD over Seagate because it has a 1yr longer warranty and the usb connector on the drive itself seats better than I've seen on the Seagate units.
I would only buy this on sale.
