great picture once adjusted

The picture was terrible out of the box; faces were washed out with no detail. The user manual was of no help. I turned off all the motion enhancement with little improvement. I then read a review article from an enthusiast magazine which helped some. Then I went on-line and found more info and finally got a great picture. I basically turned off every picture enhancement gimmick except the contrast enhancement that is supposed to simulate HDR. I recommend this TV with the understanding that the manual and help menu are no help.

If you like this genre of movies, you'll love this one. The special effects and the action to show them off are great. The story line is weak and characters are very stereotyped but that is typical for this genre.

Great story based on an actual happening. I'm sure the star character was a true hero. I think some the action was embellished more than it needed to be and bordered on the impossible. Even 1/2 of what was portrayed would have been truly heroic. Overall very entertaining movie. Good balance of story line and action.

Fortunately, the 1st song is not representative of the whole album. It has overblown, unnatural bass and an overall harsh sound. The rest of the album sounds good however. I have a very high-end sound system and bad recordings are revealed. mercilessly. This is an artists that deserves high quality recordings and, most definitely deserves to be heard. If you haven't heard him, you need too.

I'm a Neil Young fan and have a lot of his music. There is nothing particularly wrong with this album but, it's also not particularly engaging. I listened to it twice and filed it away. Neil Young seems to be more interested in social and political commentary (not a bad thing) and not so much in making progressive music.

KitchenAid 4.5-Quart Stainless Steel Bowl: Use this bowl for mixing batches of bread, biscuits, cookies, mashed potatoes and other recipes. It also makes a great second mixing bowl, if your first one is dirty and you want to make more than one thing without stopping to wash.

I replaced the glass bowl that came with my mixer. As impressive as it looked, it was very heavy and hard to hold in position while scraping with a spatula. The stainless bowl is much easier to handle as it weighs much less.

This works as it should. I read all the negative reviews and realized that many people didn't know how to set it up properly. The instructions don't give you enough info beyond plugging it in. If you have auto-cahlibration (I don't), you need to add ~30' to the distance from the seating position. When hooking up an LFE output, don't use a Y-connector to the sub if it doesn't have an LFE input; only use either the left or right input. Set the level at the sub at the midway point and then adjust the final level at the receiver/processor. It works great this way.

Although I enjoyed the album, JJ cale's style was much looser and imperfect and ultimately more enjoyable. Still, this is a nice tribute by a group of perfectionists that present the songs at a high sonic level.

I have a pioneer elite audio receiver with pass through why would I need 2 HDMI ports ...1 for sound.
The second HDMI port is for receivers or processors that can't pass the 2.0 HDMI signal. The 2nd port is for sound for older receivers. It actually has a sticker over it so you are not tempted to use it as your primary output. You still need to use the 1st port to get the 4K signal to the TV even if you use the 2nd for sound to your receiver. Check to see if your Pioneer receive will pass 4K with HDR.

I just read a review that the Sony 900E the HDR don't work when connected to a coaxial antenna is this true and they said the picture was terrible

Intermitent outage
I am a Best Buy manager and have a customer with this kit. He complains that while watching a movie the red light will come on showing no connection and he does not get the base sounds. Once he turns it off and back on then it will work again for a while before losing connection again. Some one has told him the light is only green when base is being transmitted and it is working fine. Can you verify this for me either way?
If he is still getting sound from his subwoofer, it has not disconnected. If he is not getting sound from his subwoofer, it has disconnected.If it is truly disconnecting, he may need to re-examine the way he is hooked up. He should not use a Y-connector if his subwoofer does not have an LFE input. Only use right or left input; using both makes the subwoofer see 2 inputs and sum them (double them). This in turn will make you set the level at the receiver low enough that the transmitter will intermittently loose it. Also, the level setting at the subwoofer should be set at the mid-level at the start of the set-up. Setting it at max could also cause the LFE output at the receiver to be set too low.

Can you use a subwoofer Y Cable with this?
Can you hook up a Y Cable (1female 2 male) to the cable going into the subwoofer and hook it to your L and R inputs on the subwoofer?
