Useful if you wish to add an extra USB 3 type A port to your existing number of ports on your desktop or laptop by taking up your type C port. It works, and a good value at the price I paid. But with today's tech, I'd rather have a Gen 2 version than a Gen 1 like this one is, because the Gen 2 would double your bandwidth/transfer speeds to 10 Gbps.

Samsung's book cover for the Galaxy Tab S2 is a great way to keep your tablet protected and dust free. It has a high quality feel to it, smooth and easy to clean, yet with a very subtle texture. I really like the concealed magnetic closure, and the auto screen wake/sleep when you open/close the cover. The multiple angles you can stand it up on when you fold the cover back and use the multiple magnet locations are pretty useful, for instance when setting it on an airplane tray table for movie watching. And while you can actually get more than the 3 angles it advertises, you can only position it horizontally, as expected. I also like that it does not block the speakers or headphone jack. It does add a little weight, but I don't mind it, as it somehow makes it feel more durable, and actually adds a little soft texture for easier gripping when the cover is folded back, since the inner layer is sort of a microfiber material. No complaints!

Frankly I'm a bit surprised by all the positive feedback on the S2 9.7 inch tablet. While it is fast, thin and light - I will give it that - the screen actually hurts my eyes after very little use due to the "waviness" of its motion that apparently no one else is sensitive to. At first I thought it was just the one I bought, but I looked at the same model in several stores and they all suffer from uneven movement while quickly scrolling vertically, which really diminishes my experience from an otherwise crystal clear display.
I also have a major gripe against Google/Android. Why they seem to find it necessary to remove useful features and options that would give the end user more flexibility and control over their own devices is beyond me. Similarly, it makes no sense why Samsung's own keyboard would change so drastically from device to device. If I've been using a Samsung Galaxy S series phone for years, then I'm used to certain symbols being paired with certain letters of the keyboard. So why move them around or remove certain ones altogether on the Galaxy S series tablet?? So I have to tap more buttons to access them and slow down productivity? Why take away buttons from the phone's email app, for instance, when there's even more real estate for them on the tablet's screen? Dumb. It honestly makes me angry that some executive at the top approved these obviously senseless decisions somewhere along the way, and IMHO ruined what could have been a truly awesome tablet.
Sadly, because no one else makes a "better" tablet (though Asus comes close), and because I hate CrApple even more, I'm pretty much stuck with this if I want a tablet, which I do. Despite all its flaws, it runs ok for the most part, and is built pretty well. Since the 8" version at least doesn't have a wavy screen when held vertically, I'm settling for that and taking this one back. I'm still giving it 3 stars for overall quality and speed, clarity, and average everything else.

Shrek might have been one of those computer animated films that really raised and set the bar for the genre. Between its smart writing and entertaining story, hilarious voice acting (Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy, need I say more?), appeal to both adults and kids, and superb animation, it's no wonder it won the first Oscar for best animated feature. I had never watched it in 3D, and only had the DVD before, so this was the perfect way for me to upgrade to hi-def, as the 3D disc also plays in 2D. A fantastic movie in 2D, Shrek plays outstanding in 3D. The depth really adds extra definition to the already stellar picture quality, and the sound has plenty of oomph, along with the music that fills the room appropriately. Dialogue is crystal clear and never lost in the mix. For anyone who enjoys 3D movies even half as much as I do, and loves Shrek, this is a worthy addition to your 3D collection, and a must have at least on 2D bluray.

Very disappointing

One would think after 7 incarnations, Bandai/Namco would at least take advantage of next gen hardware and get it right, but Tekken 7 still falls short in almost every way.
Full disclosure, I've never been a true Tekken fan. The combo system has never been very intuitive or newcomer friendly, so it never drew me in like other more satisfying fighting games have (Street Fighter, Killer Instinct, Injustice, to name a few favorite franchises). That said, I gave this one a shot for 2 reasons: 1) because Soul Calibur was a great fighting franchise that Namco took to an excellent level by part 5, and 2) because I had really hoped that by now they would have at least tried to invite new fans by opening up or improving the fight system, but it seems maybe you just have to be a die hard Tekken fan from the start to enjoy this.
But that doesn't excuse the cause for my next major complaint: presentation. The graphics are honestly quite sub par, especially for such a current fighter. The characters lack definition and look pasted on the backgrounds, and have a very plastic look to them. There's nearly no dynamic lighting on them to help them truly feel like they are part of their environment. Overall it looks like poorly composited visual FX from an old movie. There's no room for that anymore when there are already several top notch titles out there (see top 3 series above, for example). Even last gen's Soul Calibur 5 looked better! The sound is ok, but it doesn't impress enough to make up for the weak graphics and gameplay, nor should it have to. Bottom line, it's just... not fun. I gave 1 star for effort, and 1 star for a healthy roster of fighters to choose from. Thankfully for once I bought the disc, a wise move in this case so I can sell it, and get back to Injustice 2 and Killer Instinct.

Simple solution for a heap of extra storage

Performs well for a USB 3 external housing a 5400 or 5900 rpm drive. I have a couple WD My Book external 4TB USB 3s which run 7200 rpm drives, and I'm getting similar write speeds to those. The Easy Store is getting 85-100 MB/sec write. Haven't tested the read speed yet, but I imagine if the writes are comparable, the reads will do just as well. I knocked off a star because it comes with nearly a half a GB of software which I'll never use for my needs and will probably delete eventually, and also because the drive doesn't easily "safely remove" from Windows. Takes some fiddling to get that aspect to cooperate. Overall 8TB for the price was great.

Fantastic upgrade of a classic!

I'm often skeptical of older catalog titles getting the 3D treatment, but after a fellow 3D fan reassured me on the quality of Predator, I went for it, and I was not disappointed. I was quite impressed, actually, by how pristine the transfer was, and how much more clarity was exhibited by the 3D release. You get a much clearer sense of the layers of the jungle, and where each of the soldiers are in the 3D space. To verify my impression, I watched a few minutes of the 2D bluray afterwards, and it looked like flat garbage compared to the 3D. Revisiting this classic movie was a treat, and now having seen it in 3D, I'm not sure I could go back to 2D. Nicely done!

The movie itself (skip to "Blu-ray Presentation" if you're only interested in the quality of the disc): I enjoy most movies in the Marvel series, and Dr. Strange is no exception. Personally, I'd say this was not only one of the best Marvel movies, but one of the best movies - period - I've seen in the past few years. I knew very little about the comic and the movie going in, but between the story, character development and performance, spectacular visual effects, and pure entertainment value, this movie delivered in every way.
Blu-ray Presentation: Seeing this in 3D was AWESOME (had only seen 2D in the theater). Not every movie is worth the extra coin for 3D. This one is. I cannot speak for the 2D Blu-ray as I haven't watched it yet, but generally when the 3D transfer looks this clear, smooth, and vibrant, the 2D delivers just as well in its own right. Sound was equally bold and well crafted. 5/5 stars for the film, and A/V presentation.

Very elegant form and function

My primary uses are for video editing, Photoshop, and some web design. This monitor's display quality is very easy on the eyes during extended use, which is a huge plus if you spend a lot of time staring at screens all day. The colors are vibrant and accurate (100% sRGB), require very little if any tweaking, and the combination of 2k resolution at this size is perfect. Some people complain that IPS displays like this have bad back light bleed. It's easy to think so when you first turn it on, but that can be deceiving because it's not actually outputting any colors/images at that point (not even black). Once you're actually in the OS and using the monitor for practical application (watching video, photo editing) you don't notice any light bleed. Just bold, inky colors, evenly displayed across the 27" with an extra wide viewing angle (thanks to the IPS). I do think this Asus monitor is a bit overpriced, but I paid more because I prefer the aesthetics and solid build quality over a lot of others that feel like they're going to break when you pick them up. I also have the 1080p version of the same series, also an IPS. However the colors of this unit (MX27AQ) are far better than that one (MX279H). I don't use either for the B&O sound, but wouldn't buy a monitor expecting anything from the sound quality anyway.

It's basically a simple way to get $5 off any purchase in the Xbox Live store. Assuming the camera(s) you are using are the type that only use less than 10 watts each, then yes. I have a power hungry desktop PC, 2 monitors, a router, and 2 network storage systems plugged in. At least 4 of those, including the PC are plugged into the battery backup ports, and the digital display tells me I have A LOT of time available on battery power should the need ever arise. So your camera(s) should do just fine. I hope that helps!
