We have 3 dogs that shed and this is a good vacuum for all of the dog hair. My complaint is that the canister fills up quickly and has to be emptied multiple times while vacuuming the house. Also, the accessories are stored in a separate bag.
Overall, I would recommend this vacuum to others. It's nice to go from hardwood floors to carpet easily.
