Chuck Norris is back in action as James Braddock in the MGM double feature Missing In Action 2: The Beginning / Braddock: Missing in Action III. Each film is presented in a disappointing 1.33:1 cropped pan and scan version which severely hinders the enjoyment of the films. Sadly, each transfer sports a fair amount of dirt and soft colors while the full frame transfers offer a cheap looking version of each film. MGM has done below-par work on these titles which should make fans feel like decent copies of these films are MIA. Both films are presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo and are just slightly better than the transfers. The mixes are lacking on directional effects or dynamic range, though the good news is they both sport clear dialogue, music, and loud sound effects (especially during explosions, when helicopters fly overhead, etc.) Also included for both features are English, French and Spanish subtitles. The only extra features included on this MGM double feature are a single theatrical trailer for each respective movie.
I was only able to find it at BestBuy. No one else carried it. It took me a long time to find but BestBuy had it. I will not waste time in the future. I will go straight to BestBuy anymore. Their prices are great too. They have the best prices. I bought this one for my father. He was happy when I found it for him.
