Great little tablet. I bought 2 for my 2 daughters (2 + 4 years old). Threw on a couple of $6 jelly cases we got off Amazon and these tablets are the ultimate car ride, plane ride, need 5 minutes of sanity, etc..... You get the point. Great tablets for kids, the price can't be beat and the microSD card slot allows you to increase storage to hold as many Disney movies or episodes of Sofia the first as your heart desires. The real trick is getting your kids used to headphones and then can last an entire flight from San Antonio to Chicago in complete silence and happiness.

We bought this case to go on our Insignia 8 inch tablet. It fits fine and works well. I really like the thick plastic guards that cover and protect the corners which from my experience seem to be the most vulnerable spots on any tablet being handled by a child :-) this one works well, only thing I don't like is that it is an Insignia case and when used with an Insignia tablet the corner holders cover the charging port so I have to take one of the corner holders off everytime I go to plug it in. Not a big deal but could have been engineered a little better by the company who also makes the tablet it is for. Overall great product will continue to buy insignia.

This is a great little tablet. I bought it for my kids as a second "iPad" and they couldn't be happier. We initially bought the Samsung kids tablet but quickly learned that it was simply an outdated tablet that they put a jelly case on and marketed towards kids, it couldn't keep up with applications videos and streaming the way this Insignia one does. Very happy and will continue to buy Insignia products.

Are there any problems with overheating?
I've not had any overheating problems. I've been playing destiny 2 at 1080 and high settings with no problems. There's a neat little desktop app that lets you manually set fan speeds for both the cpu and GPU fans, or you can set to auto. I don't think I've ever heard the fans rev all the way up when on auto so it must not get too hot. Allows you to keep it really cool if you want though.

IS THIS A GOOD CHOICE FOR A 7 YEAR OLD WHO LIKES TO PLAY GAMES ON AN ANDROID PHONE AND LOOK AT OTHER THINGS ON THE INTERNET?
Yes, this tablet is perfect for a seven year old. It's actually perfect for any age. I have one and it is shared between my three-year-old and four-year-old. They love to play games watch movies stream Netflix and various other things and this tablet does it all. It outperforms the previous Samsung tablet we had and it was half the price. We couldn't be happier with it and I think your child will enjoy it too. It even does everything that I like to do, in the evening when the daughters are asleep I play with it as well. Very nice product especially for the price.

Will this work with Windows 10?????
I have an old PC with an old video card (ATI Radeon 4800). Time to upgrade. Will this work with Windows 10 and is it a good card?
Yes works with win10. I'm running it in an old server that I converted to a home pc/server. Ran win8.1 for a while and worked great then upgraded to win10 and still works well. Very convenient that it's a half length card so it fits in a lot of older systems and still offers a substantial upgrade to video performance.

can this be used on a laptop and if not could you recommend me one
This will not go in a laptop, laptops can not take video card upgrades. You are stuck with what came with the laptop. Pretty much only things you can upgrade on a laptop are increasing the amount of memory, increasing the size of your harddrive, and possibly switching to a solid state harddrive to increase speed. You can also sometimes add an additional external sound processor of sorts, but that's about all you can upgrade on a lappy.

Yes at mid to low settings. Will also depend a lot on your other pc components.
