Definitely A Step Up From Older Gen3

Definitely faster than my older iPad Gen 3 (I believe Gen3, the one before the iPad Air). Websites load faster, i.e., Amazon used to bog down and take 6-8 irritating seconds to load/refresh sometimes, not anymore. I think the camera is slightly sharper, also. The software version is sleeker, just takes a little time to get used to some different screen presentations....but not a big deal. There are some features that I haven’t gotten into, like split screen....and I’m sure others....will have to explore one day. For the price, glad I upgraded our two tablets.

Works Fine Around the House....Up To 2 Blocks

Selected these after reading a lot of reviews.....wanted a blend of quality at a fair price, that didn’t look like toys. We use them instead of an intercom system in a 2-story house.
They work well, inside and out of the house, down the block to about 1-2 block distance (200 yards). After that, start getting noise.....tried it from the supermarket parking lot about 3 blocks away and it was just about useless. We don’t plan on using outside of the immediate house grounds anyway, so that said, it makes life easier instead of yelling in the house. About what I expected, you need more power for longer distances and that costs a lot more.
Battery life is short, leaving it on all day with sporadic use pretty much makes you recharge it for the next day or it will be very low. No big deal in our case. Got 3 units for about $65 or so by price matching Amazon.

Hooked it up, was fussy with our Note5 and Galaxy 8+.....sometimes it came right on, other times it didn't. When it doesn't come on, had to fidget with connections and phone placement. This thing is only valuable IF you can drop your phone on it and walk away....as hooking up a charging cable only takes 3 seconds longer.
This unit is also SLOW to recharge, so it takes all night basically. It would only go to 89% charge on the wife's new Galaxy 8+, even after an all-night connection. Returned item and bought the actual Samsung Fast-Charge wireless charger off EBay.....works better and faster.

Easy Set-Up, Works Well

Just needed a sound bar to improve the sound coming from a bedroom TV that was bouncing sound erratically off the stone tile flooring....resulting in hard-to-decipher voices. Did not need audiophile quality, as we don't watch movies too often on this TV (watch movies on the Samsung 65" downstairs!).
The unit was easy to set up, never had to undo anything or work backwards, lol. The subwoofer is recognized and starts up by itself....no issues. You can get a little sound variation with the different listening modes....we just leave it on Standard since we want to hear voices/speech.
The only slight negative for us is it's not able to tune in precise volume levels...it can be too loud or too soft with one button push on the sound bar remote. We have to play with both the volume button on the TV remote and the volume button on the sound bar remote sometimes to get the right level.
We researched A LOT of reviews....settled on this one due to reviews, price, and size. Not too expensive, not too cheap.

Used Bondic for the first time, on a broken key fob. As a dentist, I'm used to this kind of light-cured material and it was easy to work with. After making some undercuts and roughening up the plastic key fob, the Bondic formed a strong bridge to allow it to go back on a key ring. Great stuff!
