Great Coffee Maker: sleek design and features

We decided to replace our Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffee maker with this top-of-the-line version from Breville. I only wish I had decided to do this 2 years ago. The Breville Grind Control looks so sleek and shiny on our countertop. It is beautiful! It is easy to use, and much easier to clean than our previous Cuisinart. The Breville Grind Control has a lot of extras in it's design and attention to detail:
1) You can make a single cup of coffee, or a pot of coffee. It is kind of like having a Keurig and a regular coffee maker in one.
2) It calculates the amount of beans to use based on the amount of water in the tank (this can be changed to make a stronger cup of coffee if you so desire).
3) There is a fill gauge on the top, a red pop-up indicator in the tank, as well as an audible alert which all serve to tell you when the tank is full. Sounds like a small thing, but we sometimes overfilled the reservoir in our old coffee maker and would end up with water overflowing onto the counter.
4) The machine knows if you have not emptied or replaced the basket. There is also an escape drip valve in the basket which is supposed to help if there is a backup of water. Lastly there is a spill over tray under the pot. With our old coffee maker we sometimes would forget to put the filter in the basket, so we would wake up to coffee all over the counter and floor. The escape valve and spill over tray of the Brevillle sounds like it would help alleviate a mess caused by user error, but we hopefully never need to test this feature :-).
5) The coffee chute in the Breville which dispenses coffee from the grinder into its basket is much better thought out design than the Cuisinart Grind and Brew. There is less moisture build-up which should mean less of an issue with coffee grinds getting gunked-up inside. We've only had our Breville for a few weeks so I am sure time will tell.

Set up outdoor lighting to run on a schedule with this iDevices outdoor switch, and monitor your energy use at the same time. Use the iDevices Connected app to schedule electronics and monitor the switch from a phone, tablet or laptop. This iDevices outdoor switch also responds to Siri, letting you use your voice to turn it on and off.

Doesn't always respond

I am somewhat disappointed in this product. I purchased it when I saw it was compatible with Apple HomeKit, but it doesn't always respond to commands when issued from my iPhone even when hooked up within a few meters of my router. I also have the Caseta Wireless brand from Lutron which performs much better and more consistently than this product from iDevices. The only benefit is that this iDevices model is good for the outdoors...when it works. If you don't need an outdoor model than I'd suggest another manufacturer.

Perfect size for a bedroom

We decided on this television when looking for a reasonable priced tv that had good resolution, and was a small size. This TV replaces a tiny tv that we had in our bedroom. The resolution is sharp, and it still has a small footprint that fits nicely on our dresser.
