Did not work with my older computer

My computer was unable to recognize this hard drive. Even using the Windows 7 formatting disk, it only saw 128 GB of space on it. My computer was custom built (by someone else) in 2011, and the Geek Squad at Best Buy advised me that my mother board did not support 3 TB hard drives. I exchanged this for the 1 TB version of the same brand and had no problems at all.
I'm not sure if the 3 TB hard drive is good, but be careful if you have an older motherboard.
