I didn't like this movie. Maybe I will sometime in the future, as that has happened with me for movies and music, but for now I just couldn't get into this movie. And I was looking forward to the new movie despite it was a new cast, but ultimately, it was the cast, plot, and overall execution that just left me feeling like it was not for me. My girlfriend kinda liked it, however. So that's why it's 2 stars instead of 1 star. Even though I'm loaning this to my brother and could care less if I get it back, I don't recommend this movie. I tried talking him out of it only for his sake.

I loved this movie. I know it didn't get a lot of love from fans of the comic series. But since I don't know the comic series as well as others, I enjoyed everything about it.
The 3D was pretty good in my opinion. I watched it using my old PS3 on a new OLED 55 inch curved tv that uses the same 3D capabilities as movie theaters. I still think the best 3D movies are movies that are only computer graphic movies like How to Train Your Dragon. But Apocalypse wasn't bad for a 3D movie that wasn't all CG.

My 5 year old awesome Samsung tv had enough minor problems, my Geek Squad protection plan was used to replace it. That Samsung was a gorgeous tv and the picture matched (even tho it was a 1080p tv). I was really bummed to see it go...until I saw what I could get for almost the same price I payed for my gorgeous Samsung 5 years ago.
This LG OLED tv blows that Samsung out of the water and it isn't even close. The colors are so vibrant and the blacks reach true black which I don't think any other tv ever has been able to do. They are able to be so vibrant and reach true black because each pixel is its own light source. There are no bulbs in the tv to produce the light behind the image like most tvs. Instead, each pixel being it's own light source allows them to turn off to reach true black colors and other colors to be as bright as clothes out of dryer during a Tide commercial. I do watch mainly sports and play games on it so I keep the color setting set to sports which is clearly the most vibrant colors of all the settings. But the other settings are amazing compared to other tvs as well in my opinion. There is a HDR setting that allows for the best picture you can get, but I don't have a HDR input, so I can't comment on that part of the tv that everyone else seems to love.
I love 3D stuff while at home. I hardly watch 3D stuff cuz there is so little of it, but the 3D capabilities of this LG tv are unmatched for tvs. It's the same kind of 3D movie theaters use. One huge bummer for me is that the movie industry has stated they will not make or release 4k 3D movies. So if you want to watch 3D, you're limited to 1080p 3D movies. But this tv upscales the picture to try to make it 4k. The result is still the best 3D I've seen to date whether it's in a theater or at home.
The menu/volume bar is a less than fun color of a bright pink/red color. I'm not a fan of that. Not sure if it's possible, but it would be sweet to be able to change the color of the menu to what I want it to be.
I like how the tv was made with a stand that is clear so it looks line the tv is floating from a distance.
The curved aspect of this tv is cool. It can present glare from certain angles but most of the time is nice cuz it focuses directly in front of the tv where the viewer usually is seated.
The remote uses a radio signal as opposed to infrared I think which means it doesn't matter where the remote is pointed, it will work and has a cursor like a computer mouse to point to choose what you want to select.
If you want the best tv that is out today, this is it. The smaller versions of this tv are slightly different than the larger versions, with the larger having a glass panel instead of the plastic panel I think of the smaller versions as well as one other difference I can't recall. Regardless of what size tv you get of these, it will be the best tv on the market today.

Is the battery user changeable or is it fixed in?
Can I buy a battery, pop open the back and exchange it or is it only factory serviceable?
You can change a separate battery. They are somethimg like 7 to 20 bucks online when I've looked. The Best Buy Geeksquad plan offers a free battery if you need it.

Anyone experienced dropped calls with the Note Edge from Sprint? I had to return mine for this reason alone.
Yes. I'm getting dropped calls at least once a day. Many times, its once a conversation. I always joke that the smarter the phone gets, the less the actual phone part of it works. My Galaxy Note Edge is the smartest phone I've had, but probably the worst phone talking I've had with the 20 years I've been with Sprint. A lot of static and a lot of dropped calls. I was thinking it was a Samsung thing, but maybe not. Kinda glad to hear someone else has had that problem. I have never asked anyone about it cuz I figure its too hard a thing to pinpoint why calls continue to drop. The blame game will happen. Maybe I will cash in on the Geeksquad plan from Best Buy to see if that fixes things. A lot of other quirky things with this phone too. I wish there was a fix for it.
