in the system requirements section it says i need an intel pentium processor, but i use an AMD one, will it still work for me?
It will work just fine. I am running intel and AMD devices along with Ipads and Android phones with this device.

should I buy this one?
bought new Dell xps 8700 desktop, not sure which router to buy...help!!
If you are looking for a router with lots of bandwidth to run multiple devices off of, this is a good unit. If you dont intend to run several devices, it is a little overkill and pricier than other lower end models.
