This steelbook design isn't the best. The Kingsglaive film, while cool looking, is very disappointing. The Brotherhood anime series on disc 2 is far superior.
This a a very good film that you sadly don't hear a lot about. Pitt & Jolie's performances are absolutely phenomenal. The story is great as well. The disc has solid video & audio, and quite a few deleted scenes as extras as well. Check it out.
In the second season of this anthology series about unusual police investigations, Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell star as detectives trying to solve a bizarre murder case in the corrupt city of Vinci, California.
This second season of True Detective isn't as good as the first, which almost anyone will tell you. It's plot gets caught up in itself and has far too many areas to sort out by its end. However, it's still a very good season, with Vince Vaughn's performance being the best he's done in ages. Video and audio are quite good also. Check it out.
This performance video featuring comedian Dave Chappelle gets a bare-bones presentation on DVD. Dave Chappelle: Killing Them Softly has been given a full-frame transfer to disc, while the audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. No bonus material or alternate language options have been included.
This release serves up every episode from the fourth season of HBO's Game of Thrones, the fantasy series about various clans vying for control of a kingdom that is based on the thick novels of writer George RR Martin.
The spectacular show that is Game of Thrones continues into Season Four, and doesn't miss a beat. Audio & video are top notch, as is to be expected with these releases from HBO. Don't delay--check this show out now!
The third season of HBO's Game of Thrones (based on the novels of George R.R. Martin) continues to follow the War of the Five Kings on its deadly path as Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) licks his wounds after a humiliating defeat and Robb Stark (Richard Madden) pushes for a risky offensive against the Lannisters. Meanwhile, Joffrey plans to marry Margaery (Natalie Dormer), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) works to liberate a city whose economy is built on slavery, and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) finds his undercover mission complicated when he falls in love with a woman from the tribe living beyond the wall.
The first two seasons of Game of Thrones are two of the best I've ever seen, and this set for season 3 does not disappoint. Great audio & video, and the story is simply incredible. Get into this show ASAP!
This album marks the return of original frontman Anthony Green to Saosin, and it's a very solid record. It seems to improve with every listen. I won't say it's as good as Translating the Name, but definitely a huge improvement over In Search for Solid Ground.
Louis C.K. is without peer these days as the best stand-up comedian around. This disc doesn't disappoint, and is a solid performance by an all-time great.
