I really liked the style. The soundstage and response are first rate. The noise canceling is awesome. My only gripe is that the clamping force is high and that makes them uncomfortable for long listening sessions. I guess I prefer over ear to on ear

My German foil shaver is getting old and a friend recommended I try a shaver with rotary heads. The Norelco Phillips 2500 is a good entry point to rotary shavers. At first, I was put off by the long initial charge time (NiMH) and the separate power dongle, but I found the shaver gives a close shave and doesn’t require going over to catch missed areas so the net is a faster and closer shave. I found that an electric pre-shave really improves the comfort of the shave. It’s a bit noisy, but overall the closeness and speed of the shave results in a positive recommendation.

This is a wonderfully designed piece of hardware! It's not totally tool-less as there's one cross-tip screw that has to be removed to let you lift the latch to remove the left side panel, but once inside it's a marvel. The swing-out power supply is a great piece of engineering and saves a lot of space, though it does make the case a bit top heavy. Speaking of heavy, despite all the plastic, this weighs almost 40 pounds! For years, we mounted power supplies at the bottom of our cases, ignoring the fact that heat rises. It's great to see this change. The system offers a ton of ports and has several free slots for expansion. The disk expansion options are limited (one 2.5" and one 3.5") so dual-drive raid isn't possible.
This system is fast! The Nvidia RTX 2080 SUPER is almost 40% faster than the overclocked 2060 in my older system (on the Heaven benchmark). The only downside for me was the Alienware Command Center didn't work out-of-the-box and I had to go through some gyrations to get it re-installed and working. If your goal is gaming at high resolutions, this is a great system!

Get total crushing power for all your favorite smoothies and frozen drinks in a pitcher for large batches and in single serve blending cups for on-the-go convenience. Plus, this Ninja has Vacuum-iQ and an Advanced Filtration System to remove air for light and refreshing, but never foamy, juice like a juicer.

This unit is powerful - 1400 watts is over 1.8 horsepower. It’s a good thing the unit has rubber suction cups on the base or it would trot right off the counter. Our first use was making strawberry/banana smoothies. The bananas were frozen, but that was no problem. The smoothies were really smooth - no lumps (used the Auto-IQ Smoothie setting). Next we juiced up a bunch of limes to test the juicing function. Peeling limes is no fun, but we got a good amount of juice.from them and the unit cleaned up very easily. The vacuum feature kept the debris and pulp out of the lime juice. Finally, we blended a crepe mix using the Low setting and that worked perfectly as well. The number of functions and the power of this blender are fantastic. It’s clear that a lot more experimentation is in order, but some of the suggested recipes look yummy. One negative: I wish the instructions on making salad dressings were a bit clearer - it’s not clear how to add oil to get good emulsification even though there is a “Dressing” button.

My internet connection is a combination modem/router (Pace 5268ac) so connecting the Linksys RM9000 didn't follow the script in the app which expects to be behind a stand-alone modem. I had to open a firewall hole in the modem/router so the Linksys could talk directly to the internet (using what Pace calls DMZ+ mode). Then I had to turn off the radios in the modem/router. Once I'd done that, the rest of the setup was straightforward via wifi (though I did need a call to support -- who, incidentally, did a great job).
At any rate, once set up, the router works fine and the wifi transmitters radios are far more powerful than those in the modem/router (based on the strength rating on the Windows 10 "wifi analyzer" app).
The Linksys iPhone app UI is a good one. Having easy access to the guest wifi and device prioritization (so heavy bandwidth users like video streaming get priority) is a great feature.
I'm not using the mesh wifi feature (yet) because the RM9000 seems to provide sufficient power to cover my 2500 sq ft two story.

I have several expensive over the ear audiophile headphones (some of which cost several times what these list for) as well as a couple of sound cancelling headphones. These compare favorably to the best of them!
To be fair, I have quite some high frequency hearing loss. That makes me an ideal candidate for Even's EarPrint technology. I found the EarPrint app quite easy to use and the headphones paired easily to my iPhone.
The results were remarkable. Trumpets sound crisp again. Triangles and snare drums are no longer murky. I can again hear fret noise in guitar solos. I listened to a variety of types of music (classical, rock, guitar, etc.) and found new depths to music I thought I already knew well. The bass is good, the midrange is tight, and the highs that I was missing are back.
The headphones are comfortable for long listening sessions and seem well-made. The wood grain looks looks good. These are my new favorite over-the-ear headphones.

On a recent trip through southern Utah, I took several hundred pictures. I was shooting raw+jpg and found that the in-camera jpg processing leaves a lot to be desired. The jpgs were pretty flat and a bit murky. However, a little tweaking on the raw photos really demonstrated the outstanding performance that this camera is capable of. The panorama mode is seamless. Focus is spot on. Response is quick. Low light performance is good. This is not a camera for the casual shooter as the number of features is daunting, but a little study of the manual and some field practice will really pay off.
