I replaced my Panasonic PT-AE8000U projector and 100 inch Daylite screen with the Samsung 82 inch 4K LED flat screen. Since I don't have access to 4K programming, I will compare the two TV's displaying a standard 1080P HD format. A) overall detail is approximately the same. B) the Samsung is significantly better in terms of brightness, color saturation and contrast ratio. Paying more than double the price of an equivalent 65" flat screen to get an additional 17" hurt, but being used to a 100" picture, I didn't want anything smaller than the 82". Of course I could have mortgaged my house and got a $100,000 plus 120" flat screen, but that wasn't going to happen! Can't wait for some 4K programming so I can see the Samsung really shine! Overall, I'm am very satisfied.

A bracket is a bracket unless it doesn't fit. Nice discount from BB sales. All the holes lined up with the Samsung 82 inch flat screen and it was more than beefy enough to support the nearly 100 pound TV. Three long wood screws into each of three separate wall studs did the trick.

My delivery and installation has been rescheduled four times and received an e-mail that the order has been cancelled. Upon calling customer support, I was informed that was an automatic computer generated message and the order wasn't really cancelled, it was just 15 days overdue and on back order! It is obvious the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing at Best Buy! If the installation actually happens on the latest delivery date of 8/21 I will be very surprised. In the mean time Best Buy has my money. This reminds me of Circuit City; of course they are now out of business!
